要把一般疑问句变成宾语从句，我们首先要理解什么是宾语从句。
宾语从句的概念：整个句子作宾语，用在谓语动词后，叫做宾语从句。通常有以下三种类型：
1.陈述句变宾语从句
主句+（that）+陈述句
例句：We
believe that he is honest.
2.一般疑问句变宾语从句
例句：I don't
know if you are right.
3.特殊疑问句变宾语从句
He
knows where they live.
今天为大家讲解的是一般疑问句变宾语从句。
一般疑问句变宾语从句的步骤：
举例如下：Is he a student? I don't
know.
1、把一般疑问句变成陈述句Is he a student? 变成陈述句为：He is a
student.
2、在这个陈述句前面加上连接词if/whether
if/whether he is a student
3、把主句、连接词和从句连接起来
I
don't know if/whether he is a student.
一般疑问句变宾语从句的注意事项：
1、从句的句式要由疑问句的句式变成陈述句的句式
2、从句的引导词要用if或whether,不能省略
3、从句要注意时态的呼应。
（1）如果主句谓语是一般现在时或将来时，从句谓语的时态不受时态限制；
例如：I
don't know if you are right.
（2）如果主句谓语的时态是一般过去时，从句要随着改为相应的过去时态（一般过去时、过去进行时、过去将来时、过去完成时）；
He
asked if you had written to Peter.
（3）当宾语从句叙述的是客观真理的时候，不管主句谓语的时态如何，从句都用一般现在时。
例如:My
father told me that light travels faster than sound.
4、一般情况下，whether和if可以互换，但在以下情况只能用whether
（1）与or not连用的时候
例如：Let me know whether you can come or
not.（对）
（2）当宾语从句提到句首的时候，只能用whether引导。
例如：Whether it is true or not,I can't
tell.（对）
（3）whether可以引导带to 的不定式
例如：I
don't know whether to accept or refuse.（对）
（4）whether 及其引导的成分可以放于介词之后，作介词的宾语。
例如：I
worry about whether I hurt her feelings.（对）
5、人称的变化
从句的主语如果是第一人称，变宾语从句则与主句的主语一致；如果是第二人称，则与主句的宾语一致；如果是第三人称，不用变化。
例如：
“May
I borrow your book?”He asked me.
变成宾语从句就是：He asked me if he might borrow my
book.
“Do
you know her telephone number?”He asked me.
变成宾语从句就是：He asked me if I knew her telephone
number.
一般疑问句变宾语从句例句如下：
1.I
wonder whether you will come back next month.
2.Alice wonders if/ whether he is a
student.
3.Whether he is a student, Alice
wonders.
4.I
wonder whether / if Jim is at home.
5.He
wondered whether/ if June was a good time to visit Hong
Kong.
6.Do
you know whether he likes sports?
7.He
asked whether they would play basketball after school.
8.I
wanted to know if/whether the train would arrive on
time.
9.Li Lei wants to know
if/whether Peter came here
yesterday.
10.We
don’t know if/whether we can grow plants on Mars.
11.Could you tell me if/whether many people are
going to move to Mars?
12．I
don't know whether he'll arrive in
time.
13．I didn't know whether they liked
the place.
14．I'll see whether I can induce him
to accept it.
15．I asked her whether she agreed.
16．I wonder if it's large enough.
17．She didn't say if he was still
alive.
