Step1: Lead-in

 T:Hello, everybody！Today we will learn the text In Search Of the Amber Room. First, I want to show you some pictures and use the words in UNIT1 to describe them.

 T: Maybe you have guessed what they are? Yes, there are amber.

    Can you imagine building a room using amber?

 Ss: It's unbelievable.

Step2. Reading

 1. Fast Reading

⑴ T: Read the text quickly, trying to find out the main idea of the text.

      A. It tells us the feature of the Amber Room and some events behind it.

      B. It mainly tells us how the Amber Room was made.

      C. It tells us why the Amber Room became one of the wonders of the world.
