专辑介绍：
这是古琴名家谢孝苹用稀世珍宝唐代纪侯钟演奏的古琴名曲。

现存唐琴不过十余张，大唐开元十年（722）雷氏所制“纪侯钟”即为其中之一。它的发现有一段奇特的遭遇：琴家谢孝苹《雷巢文存》记载，1941年冬，他曾资助友人的朋友纪三爷回家过年的盘缠。后者回家后收拾屋子时，发现原先放鞋的木板上有很多隐隐发亮的星星（其实是古琴徽位），觉得与谢孝苹家里墙上挂的木板很像，所以包好，拿回来送给了谢孝苹。谢老在琴体上发现铭文，如获至宝，请老师吴景略修复，并确定为唐琴，从此相伴56年。

1998年，谢老去世，此琴转为香港琴家唐健垣收藏。

此琴长 121.5 宽（额18.3 肩 18.7 尾14.0）厚62.0 cm。底面圆拱，双层面板，桐木制作。此琴距今1200多年，音色庄重、奇丽、宏亮、松透……音韵高古透润，是古琴中的极品珍宝。

这张琴的音色好到什么程度呢？2000年，内地九位重量级琴家（郑珉中、王迪、吴文光、吴钊等）各携所藏传世名琴，中国政府出借了30张明琴以及香港琴家唐健垣与沈兴顺……一共带去所藏名琴40张，去台北参加“千禧年百琴展”。要知道这是多么难得的机会，两晚盛大演出的时候，参演十余位大师级琴家均放弃各自之前所携带用来演奏的宋元明琴，不约而同的专用纪侯钟这一张琴演奏，足见两岸三地各位琴家对此琴钟爱的程度。

据称，这张古琴先后被使用录制过六张CD：1995年，谢孝苹《纪侯钟》和陈长林《闽江琴韵》；2001年，唐健垣、邓汉昌《唐宋古琴演奏会》VCD；2006年，唐健垣《霞外琴韵》、向雪春《雪春琴韵》及王颖苑《幽兰》。
