《莱纳之声》是 XRCD2 重制的，老版是RCA的Living Stereo系列中颇受好评的一张CD。它几乎集合了Living Stereo系列众多录音的优点。录音准确、开阔、透明。唱片里面收录了拉威尔的《西班牙狂想曲》、《死公主的帕帆舞曲》、李斯特的《死之舞》、拉赫曼尼洛夫的《死岛》、威伯的《邀舞》。在历来的评论里，公认这个录音最能体现指挥家功力和录音效果。要玩好这张唱片一点都不容易。如果听起来声音偏薄，那么就是重放的器材的问题。如果可以重放出那种飘渺不定的气氛，器材的配搭是有相当水平的。

    若说莱纳的众多录音，弱水三千只想取一瓢饮之，《莱纳之声》无疑是不二之选。它集合了Living Stereo众多优秀录音当中，精选出乐评认为最能表现演奏力和发烧音效的莱纳作品编辑而成，录音由著名制作人李察·莫尔和超重量级的录音师路易士·莱顿联手合作。

    本片收录拉威尔《西班牙狂想曲》、《死公主的帕帆舞曲》，李斯特《死之舞》、韦伯《邀舞》、拉赫曼尼诺夫《死之岛》，首首都是考验管弦乐表现的乐曲。但在莱纳棒下，每首曲子性格鲜明、流畅悦耳，就像一道道可口精致的小菜，色香味具全入口难忘。《莱纳之声》始录于1956年，是RCA的“The Reiner Sound”系列中最经典古典录音之一，莱纳指挥芝加哥交响乐团演奏，堂音丰满，低频宏伟，瞬变、冲击力惊人。

    这张唱片录音准确、开阔、透明……在历来的评论里，公认这个录音是指挥家功力和录音效果的完美统一，不愧为模拟录音时期的典范之作，难怪被评为TAS榜上的发烧天碟
