专辑介绍：
　　阮仕春对中国古代音乐和乐器素有研究，而且由八十年代初开始，已一直致力改革双共鸣箱柳琴和阮咸这两种弹拨乐器，并获得“文化部一九九二年度科技进步奖──双共鸣箱柳琴”及“文化部一九九六年度科技进步奖──阮咸”。
阮氏对唐代阮咸的内部构造与外部形态特点非常熟悉。在进一步研究中，他发现现存於日本正仓院的两具中国唐代阮咸，一是用紫檀木制，另一是用桑木制，皆是中国传统制作乐器的好材料。
为了证实自己的见解，阮氏千里迢迢走访敦煌、故宫，向多位中国古乐研究家求证，吸取他们的意见和研究成果，阮氏和专家都认为，复原制作阮咸，无论外型尺寸，内外结构和使用材料，都必需忠於历史。就因为阮氏认真考究和执著的态度，令他在改良制作阮咸的研究中，得到突破性的成就，并获得“国务院一九九八年科学技术进步奖”。
阮仕春於一九七四年参加了香港中乐团，成为柳琴乐师。一九七七年后，除了在香港本埠演出音乐会外，还经常到世界各地巡迴演出。一九九八年三月，阮氏就曾经以自己制作的复原阮咸於香港演艺学院举办的“日本正仓院复原乐器讲座及演奏会”中，向中日两国的音乐家和乐器专家演奏，并获得激节讚赏。
　　现时，他是香港中乐团的柳琴首席乐师，他的演奏风格融匯了南北各派所长，细腻、深情，委婉动听和豪迈激情兼有，演奏足迹遍及亚、欧、美、澳各洲。他的独奏、合奏、和中、西管弦乐团协奏都非常出色，像《流水颂》、《葡萄架下》、《渔歌》、《故乡情》等曲目，更是膾炙人口。
