1983年广州太平洋影音公司出版了《范上娥古筝独奏》这部专辑。范上娥的演奏风格细腻深沉，感情丰富。创作或合作了著名的古筝独奏曲“高山流水”、“海青拏鹤”、“粉红莲”等等曲目，范上娥的演奏技巧娴熟，韵味浓郁，朴实纯美、刚柔并济。她演奏录制的大量作品，深受人们喜爱。范上娥不仅是一位表演艺术家，也是一位知名的教育家，她培养的学生便及海内外，不少学生在国内、国际比赛中获奖。

艺术家简介：

范上娥出生于1943年，广东潮阳人。古筝演奏家，国家一级演奏员。1954年考入上海音乐学院附中学钢琴，1958年转学古筝，师从王巽之、曹正、郭鹰等名家，深得各流派演奏精髓。1966年，毕业上海音乐学院，任北京电影乐团演奏员。期间录制了大量的影视音乐并担任独奏，出访欧洲、亚洲、美洲等十多个国家，其演奏深受当地民众欢迎。1981年，随中国音乐家代表团赴香港参加亚洲音乐节，与香港中乐团合作首演中国第一部古筝协奏曲《泪罗江幻想曲》（李焕之曲）。1983年，广州太平洋影音公司为其出版《范上娥古筝独奏》专辑。1987年，编著出版《郭鹰演奏的潮州筝曲选》。1992年移居加拿大。代表筝乐作品有《雪山春晓》《银河碧波》《幸福渠水到俺村》（合作）等
