专辑介绍：

　　演唱者是李冰，原籍广西，少时移居香港，曾随胡然、赵梅伯两位教授学习声乐，后又考入伦敦皇家音乐学院继续深造。通过多年的艺术实践，她在中西古典艺术歌曲的演唱方面有了较深的造诣，尤擅长演唱以经典文学作家和古典作曲大师所作词曲的名歌精曲，同时也致力于声乐教学。她是香港中文大学音乐系成立以来的“元老级”声乐教席。1988年，她在香港推出的首张《李冰历代诗词新唱》CD，也是香港出版的第一张中国古典艺术歌曲CD，受到各方好评。

　　这个专辑是李冰女士与当代著名钢琴伴奏家杰弗里·帕森斯（Geoffrey Parsons）在伦敦威格默尔音乐厅合作的艺术产品。整张CD共收录了23首中外艺术歌曲，以西洋古典艺术歌曲为主，如歌德、拜伦、白利克、泰戈尔等原词，舒曼、舒伯特、勃拉姆斯、柴科夫斯基等谱曲的歌曲占了较大比例。片首曲也是标题曲“爱的颂歌”，歌词取自15世纪无名氏，由罗杰·奎尔特（Roger Quilter）作曲，李冰淳厚温暖的音色与气息一出现，立即便抓住人心。后面为李清照、徐志摩等诗作谱曲的歌曲，又有浓厚古朴的中国味。
