德国“回声”音乐奖是德国唱片业协会 Deutsche Phono-Akademie 创办的，第一届始于 1992 年。从 1994 年起，古典“回声”奖从中独立出来，在科隆举办了首届颁奖典礼，此后，古典“回声”奖历年的举办地包括德累斯顿、多特蒙德、慕尼黑、埃森等城市，2017年是在汉堡易北爱乐大厅。

英国“艺术台”网站赞叹克塞妮娅?希多洛娃的演奏“非同一般的敏感和精湛”，同时被《古典之源》誉为“一位造诣非凡的艺术家”。作为DG唱片公司唯一签约的女手风琴家，克塞妮娅?希多洛娃是当今“手风琴的顶级代言人”。她也是英国爱乐乐团的马丁音乐奖学金基金会的获奖者。2017年获古典音乐重量级大奖年度乐器（手风琴）演奏奖。
