这张专辑是著名的弗拉门戈音乐家Manitas de Plata和表演艺术家Jose Reyes、Manero Baliardo合作的录音，绝对纯正的吉普赛人音乐。表现出纯弗拉门戈的灵魂和热情，毕加索曾说过，Manitas de Plata是比自己更优秀的艺术家。

弗拉门戈( Flamenco), 是指传统西班牙南方安达鲁西亚(Andalusia) 的歌舞型式, 尤其是指这地区吉普赛人(Gypsies) 的歌舞。

对于“弗拉门戈”，舞蹈家说它是一种舞蹈艺术，歌唱家说它是一种音乐风格，演奏家说它是一种吉他弹奏技巧……而吉卜赛人却说它是一种快乐！构成弗拉门戈的三大元素是吉他、舞蹈、歌唱。而这些都须伴有感情、节奏、气氛及灵气。对舞者、歌唱者及吉他手来说，这是种十分难掌握的节奏，但同时却又有很大的即兴发挥空间。歌手以脚踩地踏出繁复而扣人心弦的节律。歌曲和吉他乐声时而哀悽、时而欢愉，如同吉普赛人对飘泊的呼唤。有哪个民族能够像吉普塞人勇敢地活出这样的体验呢?

吉普塞人传奇的色彩、宿命的艺术，其实一直活在你我的内心深处。弗拉门戈向来就不是那么纯粹的“民俗”艺术（folklore）。经过几个世纪的发展, 吸收融合阿拉伯、吉普赛、安达鲁西亚、甚至拉丁美洲等文化的影响, 而成为今天的样式, 在世界音乐文化中, 一直是特殊且影响深远的一环。

这张专辑的演奏、录音都极其出色，吉他的拨弦音色、歌手的声音质感都超一流，更难得的是录音的现场感极强，仿佛演出就在你的身边，那种身临其境的震撼让人一听难忘。绝对是一张不容错过的天碟。
