这张新专辑收录两首她所写的曲子，其中《铿锵玫瑰》即被选为第一主打歌，这首由林忆莲谱曲、李宗盛作词的歌曲格外引人注意，其实林忆莲多年来一直尝试作曲，这是她的作品第一次被收录在专辑之中，而且竟意外的被选为主打歌，并颇受乐评的推崇，林忆莲兴奋之余表示：从事音乐创作是我多年来的兴趣，这一次在制作人贾敏恕的协助下，我独立完成这首歌曲，而且通过考验得以收录在专辑中，真的是非常非常开心，给我很大鼓励。这首《铿锵玫瑰》音乐部分和以前有很大不同，有点带乡村摇滚的曲风，在国语歌曲中也是少见的。
