这张专辑是罗马爵士钢琴三重奏2015年7月在意大利录制的，由Luca
Mannutza演奏钢琴、Gianluca Renzi演奏贝斯、Nicola
Angelucci担任鼓手。三位乐手以近乎现场演出的火热方式铺陈十首乐曲，速度流畅的转换、乐手精彩的独奏，都会让爵士迷们忘情叫好，专辑因此获得著名爵士乐杂志《Swing
Journal》“金唱片”奖。
罗马三重奏的原名是“RAM”，取三位团员姓氏首字母而成。不过Venus唱片制作人原哲夫认为这个三重奏在意大利罗马组成，因此在日本首发专辑时，取名为较响亮的“罗马三重奏”（Roma）。
这张专辑中演奏的曲目，多半是原哲夫听到的示范带中的曲子。在原哲夫的制作下，在距离罗马不远的Wide
Sound录音室中，罗马三重奏录制的这张专辑的确有着让爵士乐迷们想要鼓掌叫好的因素，那就是团员之间相辅相成、各自发挥的绝佳默契。从第一曲《Love
Is A Many-Splendored
Thing》开始就有精彩演出，主题出现后三人立刻加足马力改变速度，将这曲柔美的音乐以激昂的方式呈现出来，接着由贝斯手Gianluca
Renzi来上一段精彩的拉奏，再来则是鼓手Nicola Angelucci与钢琴手Luca
Mannutza的应答对话，最后速度再度放慢，回归抒情歌曲的本质。这一气呵成的紧凑变速演出，相信任何爵士乐迷听到都会满心欢喜。这张专辑中有几首曲子都有这种少见的特技变速演奏，可见得团员之间的默契有多棒。
罗马三重奏另外一个特色就是三人在乐曲中都有比重相当的发挥。以钢琴三重奏来说，多半是以钢琴为主角，鼓与贝斯可算是绿叶的陪衬。但是罗马三重奏的每位团员都有极为精湛的技巧，而乐手们之间也会互相“作球”，不管是爵士鼓或贝斯，都会在乐曲中不时来段精彩的独奏。尤其是鼓手Nicola
Angelucci的敲击，鼓点繁复而节奏稳健明快，让人怀疑为何有如此彷彿永远用不完的精力。Sonny
Rollins的名作《Airegin》曲名是奈及利亚的单字反拼，在这纪念黑人故乡的作品开头，1968年出生的钢琴家Luca
Mannutza以少有的快速独奏开场，也展现了连珠炮般的火热演奏技巧，与意大利人与生俱来的优美旋律基因。如果你是喜爱聆听现场演奏的爵士乐迷，那么聆听这张专辑就好像参加了一场现场演奏会般，会让人血液加速、心跳加快。
