约尔格·德慕斯（J?rg
Demus，1928年12月2日-2019年4月16日）奥地利著名钢琴家，出生于圣帕尔腾。他6岁开始学习钢琴，11岁进入维也纳音乐学院学习钢琴、作曲和指挥，直至1945年毕业。23岁时，他踏上巴黎的土地，师从钢琴巨匠伊夫·纳特深造学习，之后又跟随肯普夫、米凯兰杰利、巴克豪斯和埃德温·菲舍尔学习钢琴。他的这些老师们个个在钢琴音乐史上都是闻名遐迩的人物，撑起了钢琴演奏艺术的“黄金时代”。他们为德慕斯打下了深厚的演奏基础和艺术审美，而德慕斯则继承了这些大师的衣钵，让钢琴“黄金年代”的气息一直延续到今天。听德慕斯的演奏，仿佛穿越到那个年代。当年那种温暖、高贵、克制的演奏令人无比感动。
德慕斯真正被世界乐坛注意到是在1956年，28岁的他获得布索尼国际比赛的金奖。此时，在奥地利出现了钢琴家断代。老一辈因为二战而不再演奏了，新一代的还没有涌现。也就在这个时候，出现了几位新生代钢琴家填补了这个空白，他们被称为“维也纳钢琴三杰”——德慕斯、巴杜拉-斯柯达和弗里德里希·古尔达。
除了独奏外，他还经常为菲舍尔-迪斯考和施瓦茨科普夫等著名歌唱家伴奏。德慕斯说过，菲舍尔-迪斯考是他最钟爱的歌唱家，他们合作的录音包括那张名冠乐坛的舒伯特《冬之旅》、《歌德歌曲》专辑，以及贝多芬、舒曼的众多艺术歌曲。这些合作为他的独奏也带来了深远影响，那种歌唱性和鲜明的倾诉感，以及温暖如春的音色，或许正是来源于此。
