长笛是一种最接近人声歌唱的乐器，其音色柔美清澈，音质动感好听，音域宽广。长笛的中、高音区明朗，如清晨第一缕阳光，低音区则婉约，如冰澈的月光。长笛的演奏技巧华丽多样，它通常被用来演奏花腔，是现代管弦乐和室内乐中主要的高音旋律乐器。
