一、教学内容:

Story time

二、教学目标:

1. 学生能正确理解、朗读并尝试复述Story time的内容。

2. 学生能初步了解询问计划的句型Where/When/How long /What will you …? Will you…?以及词汇go back to, stay, Taipei, DisneylandOcean Park

3. 学生能用Will谈谈自己的暑假出游计划。

4. 通过课文的学习,引导学生开阔眼界,热爱家园。

三、教学重难点:

1. 能正确理解并朗读文章内容,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述

2能正确用一般将来时句型Where/When/How long /What will you …? Will you…?与他人交流讨论计划。

四、教学准备:

PPT,人物图片等

五、教学过程:

Students enjoy a short movie before class.

Step1 Warm up

1. T: I have some hobbies, boys and girls. How about you?

Ss: Me too.

T: Let’s play a game first. If we have the same hobby, please say “Me too”. I like reading English/watching cartoons/…

2.T: I’ m very happyBecause we have the same hobbies. Actually we’ll do these activities today. We’ll…

3. T: We all like enjoying photos. Let’s enjoy some photos together.

Step2 Presentation

Before reading

1. T: Are they beautiful? Do you want to go there?

Ss: Yes.

T: It’s the Merlion. It’s in Singapore. If we want to go there. We’ll spend 4232 yuan for four days. Is it cheap or dear?

Ss: It’s dear.

2. T: Don’t worry. I’ll tell you some good news. This is Tuniu net. Now, look! How much is it?

Ss: 1299 yuan.

T: It’s cheap now. Are you happy? Tuniu net will have some favorable activities. So where will you go this summer holiday?

S: I will go to …

T: Why?

S: Because I want to…教师与学生保持话轮交流

3. T: Where will Miss Feng go this summer holiday? You can ask like this “Will you…?”

S: Will you go to Nanjing?

T: No, I won’t. (教学will not =won’t) 教师逐步给出提示,让学生继续猜

While reading

1. T: Just now, we talked about the places where we will go in summer holiday.

 Let’s look and think. 完成书70页练习并口头说一说

T: You know Mike is from London. So we can say Mike will go back to London. (教学go back to) Liu Tao will go to Taipei. (介绍台北101大厦)

3. T: What questions do you want to know about it? (学生自由表达,教师板书What, How long, How…)

Q3: What will they do in each places? Let’s read and answer.

 T: Mike will visit his grandparents. What else will he do? Look at the pictures carefully.教师引导学生看文本图片进行猜测

4.(教学书68)Q: How long will Mike stay in London?

What will Yang Ling do in Beijing? 拓展讲What else will Yang Ling do there?

Will Yang Ling go to Beijing by plane? (学生仔细读书68页的内容,划出相关的句子,讲解month, how long)

5.T: Now, we know Mike’s and yang Ling’s summer holiday plans. What about Su Hai’s plan? How will they talk about? (呈现学习贴士,请学生在书69页找出两个问题,介绍DisneylandOcean Park相关知识)

6. T: Look! They are go on talking about summer holiday plans. Where will Liu Tao go? Do you know?

Ss: He will go to Taipei.

T: We only know a little about Liu Tao. Now, try to be Su Hai and Liu Tao and talk about Liu Tao’s summer holiday plan.

将文本内容结合所学句型改编成新的对话,让学生学有所用。

2. T: You will finish primary school and study in a middle school. What will you do in summer holiday?

S: I will…

T: Your plans sound good. There is a man. He is good at planning. He is “mr will”. He will… He will… He always saysI will …tomorrow.Do you like Mr Will?

T: Why?

S:…

T: I don’t like Mr will either. Because he always says I will …tomorrow.

Here are some proverbs for you: Action is more important than words.

行比言更重要。Suit the action to the word. 言出必行。
