教材分析

本课选自陕旅版四年级上册第四单元When do you have classes?第二课时Part A Let’s talk部分,是一堂基于听说的会话课。通过When do you…?句型,展开对时间的提问,是词汇课的延伸。在整个单元中起到承上启下的作用,引导学生“学习词汇,了解新知;走进文本,学习新知;整合教材,掌握新知;走出文本,应用新知”。并遵循“词不离句,句不离句”的教学规律。促进学生综合发展语用的能力。

-I…at…in….

b.     Learn the sentence structures:

-Do you …?

-Yes, I do./ No, I don’t.

Improve the abilities of speaking and listening according to the cooperative teaching method.

(1) Encourage the students to be interested in English.

(2) Tell the students to cherish the time and know how hard the parents are.

Step 1 Warming up and leading in

1.     Use a guessing game to start new lesson, the teacher can draw a simple drawing to help the students to know what it is. Then use the clock to lead in the verb phrases they have learnt.

(Purpose: Encourage the Ss interested in English, and tell them what we have learnt last lesson. At the same time, let the students will know what they will learn today.)

Step2 Presentation and practice

1.     The teacher uses the clock to tell the students her own timetable.

T: I get up at six in the morning.

2.     Then according to the clock, ask the students when they get up, have classes, have lunch, play games, go to bed and so on. Make them know the meaning of “when” .

T: When do you get up?

3.     Lead the students to answer the question with “at” and “in”.

4.     Use a listening practice to make the students know the conversation on page 27.

(1) Listen and answer

Q1: When does Shanshan have classes?

Q2: When does Shanshan play games

(2) Listen and read

The teacher leads the students to read the conversion with correct intonation and pronunciation.

(Purpose: The teacher sets up four kinds of activities to lead the students to learn the conversation. From words to sentences, from sentences to conversation,)

Step 3 Consolidation

Ask the students to finish the chart about their time.

Step4 Summary

Use a chant to summarize the lesson.

(Purpose: Maybe it can make the students master the conversation easily.)

Homework

1.     Make up a new conversation about your time.

2.     Try to ask your parents the time, what you will find.

(PurposeI set up two kinds of homework, the first one, make them practice the new lesson and improve their ability of speaking. The second one, make the students know how hard our parents are.)
