Unit 7 I Have a Headache. (The 1st period)
Ⅰ. Teaching Content
本单元的主要话题是健康。重点学习I feel very bad today. What’s wrong with you/him? I have/He has a... You’d better take him to see a doctor.以及祈使句等句型结构。谈论引起人们身体不适的几种常见疾病以及生病后的一些基本建议,其内容与学生生活紧密相联。本节课的授课内容是Let’s learn的部分词汇以及Let’s talk.部分。

Step 1Warming up and Leading in

Step 2 Presentation and Practice
1. The teacher creates a situation of Birdie and his friends to present the new vocabulary while using simple drawing to make the students understand the vocabulary easily.
【设计意图:教师创设情境,让学生在真实的情境中,感知新知。同时利用形象生动的简笔画,很好的帮助学生理解新知。】
6. Listen, look and repeat. (listen the third time / read the second time)
7. Role-play the dialogue.
【设计意图:通过“三听”标准的语音语调,培养学生准确的语音语调。用问题引导学生有目的地听,降低了学习难度,让学生抓住对话关键信息的同时,培养了学生听的能力。通过角色扮演,让学生再次理解文本,内化语言知识,发展学生综合运用语言的能力。】
Step 3 Consolidation and Expansion
1. Birdie flies to Sam’s window. Sam looks unhappy. He is talking with his mother. What are they talking about? Let the students discuss with their partner and show their dialogue.
2. Let the students help Sam to see a doctor and give some suggestions to Sam.
【设计意图:让学生改编对话,检测学生的学习效果。让学生带着Sam去看医生,给Sam一些建议,培养孩子们互相帮助和重视身体健康的意识。】
