students to master months ,knowledge some festivals in China or in
western countries and how to use this structure “When

Teaching contents: vocabulary of months
Type of the lesson: Vocabulary, speaking
Teaching objectives:
By the end of the lesson, students should be able to:
1、 say the months ,some festivals
in English and master their abbreviations
2、 master how to use the language
knowledge in communication
Main points: master the pronunciation of months and their abbreviation , use the language knowledge in communication
Difficult points: understanding and using the sentence structure: “When is the …?” “ It’s in …”to communicate with other people .
Teaching and leaning methods:
observational method, communicative method,
Teaching aids: blackboard, chalk, PPT, pictures
Teaching procedures:

After class reflection
This lesson is not sufficiently effective. First I’m in charge of the time that is not good. Secondly, I give the directive is a little difficult for students, so I should strength the teachers class-language. Next lesson I should make good use time to complete the objective of the lesson.
