Step 1 Revision (3 min)
1.1 Game— Wheel of Fortune
To review the words about months, the teacher will let the students speak out the English words according to the Chinese meanings.
1.2 Asking and answering
Get the students to ask and answer by using the sentence patterns “—When is …? —It’s in…” with the table.

Step 2 New words Presentation (4 min)
Present the new words “bunny, chocolate, roll, look for, game” and sentences of Simple Future Tense by asking the students “What will you do if you have an Easter party?”
Step 3 Fast-reading (5 min)
Let the students read the invitation fast and circle the words they don’t know, and these words are: holiday, RSVP, by. The teacher will emphasize the usage of the word “by” and explain the points as well as the format in the invitation.
Step 4 Detail-reading (6 min)
Ask the students to read the invitation again and finish some practice.

Step 5 Post-reading (10 min)
5.1 Sentences writing
The teacher will show a picture about birthday and ask the students “What will you do if you have a birthday party?”. Get the students to write at least three sentences about the things they will do at their birthday party with the sentence “I/We will…” They can refer to the following phrases.

5.2 Invitation writing
