全文通过小留学生梦雪所看到、听到、做到和想到的事例，以介绍留学经验、情境对话和心得感言的写作方式，体现出Dandelion在加拿大日常生活、高中学习活动的各个方面，高中留学的所有流程，思想转变和素养提高过程。通过与中国受到的教育对比，体现留学的意义，中西文化的差异，让中学生读者在认识、理解西方文化的同时，了解在加拿大中学留学全过程，并掌握中学留学常用的英语口语。

作者简介：Timothy Lu

Timothy Lu is a student at UWC Pearson College studying the full International Baccalaureate program and a recipient for the Duke of Edinburgh Silver Award. He co-founded nowYouth in 2016, currently an international organization with 9 chapters in 5 countries. He is the president of the youth climate organization “Young Climate Leaders” and the Canadian director of the organization Youtheoria, as well as a Youth Ambassador of Canada sponsored by the Department of States of United States. He is passionate about social advocacy for race issues and climate change and is a researcher in the field of evolutionary psychology. Timothy is also a competitive fencer, winning medals at the national level and has represented Canada in competitions abroad. Timothy participates in national-level speech and debate competitions and has taught the speech and debate course at his school. 

Matthew Lu

Matthew Lu is a Carolina scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a cofounder of nowYouth. He has received the Gold award for the Duke of Edinburgh Award, the Royal Conservatory of Music Gold Medal in the province of Alberta, Canada for the second consecutive year, and the MP Youth Leadership Award. He is a Yale Global Young Scholar Alumni Ambassador and a SHAD Canada Ambassador. Matthew is enthusiastic about public welfare. Matthew actively participates in community activities, such as volunteering as an English Teaching Assistant at Jiangmen Foreign Language School in China and as an administrative assistant at the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital in Cape Town, South Africa.
