2、话题：运用句型This is Big ben. It’s very old.描述一座城市、一处景物或一件物品。

3、听力训练:通过聆听课文内容，感知介绍某地的语句的语音语调特征。（课本P11）odule2 Unit2  It’s  very  old.

Step1: Warming-up 1. Greeting 2.Words game. (唱反调) （1）T ：big ,Ss:small. （2）Show out the word cards. Ss read the words as fast as they can. And do the actions to each other.

Step2: Presentation 1、Leading-in. (1)老师装扮成一名导游　To you know where the Olympic Games held last year? Ss: London. T: YES !Do you know something about London? Now, I am a guider. I’ll take you to visit London. Now,look! 教师出示关于伦敦的几幅图片，让学生来欣赏。 2、New words. (1)教学新单词：old, famous （2）教学单词old. （展示图片：Big Ben）师板书这个词组，并教学生认读词组，让注意每个单词的首字母大写。A、个别学生读。B、男、女读。C、小组读。T: It’s in the centre of London. It’s a big tower with four clocks. 师提问：Is it new?学生回答，教师引导学生读出It’s old.教学单词old. T: Is it tall? Ss: yes ,it is.小结：This is Big Ben.It’s very tall .It’s very old.并让学生当导游，用这些句子向同学介绍。。 (3) 教学单词famous. （展示图片：Tower Bridge）教学生认读这个短语，A、个别学生读。B、男、女读。C、小组读。注意单词首字母大写。It’s very famous and beautiful. 并让学生当导游，用这些句子向同学介绍。 评选最佳小导游。 3、Text. （1）让学生听音指图，找出课文中的新单词以及新词组。 （2）再放录音，学生跟读课文。

Step3: Practice

 1.根据课文内容完成下列句子。学生以小组为单位来完成。完成后集体来订正。 Big Ben is very __ and___; Hyde Park is very  __  and __   ; TowerBridge is very __   and __   .   

 2.记忆力大比拼： 出示Buckingham Palace\Big Ben\Hyde Pake, Tower Bridge图片，让学生快速抢答四个景点的名称。

3.我来做小导游 设计意图：这里主要是让学生来填写本单元刚学到的单词，是对课堂知识的检测，同时通过对本课内容的练习，达到了巩固课文的目.

4.The song. （1）跟老师朗读歌词，并解释其汉语意思。 （2）播放歌曲录音，学生整体感知歌曲。（3）再放录音，学生跟唱歌曲。（4）学生可以边唱边做动作。

Step 4. 拓展练习

1.让学生欣赏四幅世界各地的著名风景图，并做简单地描述。 　

（the Summer Palace / the Buckingham Palace/   the Great Wall 　/　　Mount Qomolangma）

 Step 5.Summary. 教师带领大家一起小结这节课我们都认识哪些新单词、新短语，认识了四个比较著名的建筑。

 Step6.Homework.

 1、模仿课文录音，听读课文及单词3遍。

 2、使用句型This is /　It is描述你曾去过的一个景点。
