形容词副词最高级句型

1. the + 最高级 + of / in … 

She is the youngest in the class.

Spring is the best season of the year.

Tom is the happiest of us all.

This park is the most beautiful of the three.

Jim’s box is the heaviest of all.

The blue T-shirt is the most expensive of all.

My father is the tallest in my family.

of+复数”表示“在……之中的”；“在……中”

  which和what在一定数目的范围内做选择时用which,从不定数中做选择时用what,但有时并没有区分得那么清楚。

3. the + 序数词 + 最高级
　The Yellow River is one of the longest rivers in China. 最……之一

 Africa is the second largest continent.非洲是第二大洲。

Jack runs the third fastest in our class.

4. one of the +最高级   “是最……之一者”
　Shanghai is one of the most beautiful cities in China.上海是中国最美丽的城市之—.
　Our city is one of the safest cities in the world.我们城市是世界上最安全的城市之—.

5. most+复数名词 / most of the+复数名词 / most of+代词  “大多数,大部分的……”
　Most people like apples.大多数人喜欢苹果.
　Most of the boys are good.大多数的男孩是好样的.
　Most of them were written here.他的大部分书是在这儿写的.

6. 最高级的修饰语

最高级前可用 the very, the second, much the, (by) far the, not quite the, nearly, almost, by no means 等修饰。

He is far more careful than I am. 他比我仔细得多。

This is much the most important. 这是最重要的。

Hainan is China’s second largest island. 海南是中国第二大岛。

This is quite far the most expensive bicycle in the shop. 这是这家商店里最最贵的自行车。

She is by far the most active member in our group. 她是我们组最最活跃的成员。

This hat is nearly/almost the biggest. 这帽子差不多是最大的了。

注：very不能修饰比较级，却可修饰最高级，但它与一般的修饰最高级的副词有所不同，即它要放在最高级前的定冠词之后，而不是之前(另外，second, third, next等也要放在定冠词之后)。比较：

 This is the very best. 这是最最好(难)的。

=This is much the best.

7. 最高级前不用the 的五种情况

 (1) 形容词最高级前通常用the，副词最高级前的the可以不用。

(2) 形容词最高级作表语时，有时可以省略the。

Which of the boys is (the) strongest? 这些孩子中哪个最强壮？

(3) 最高级形容词作表语，副词用状语时，没和别人比较时不用the。

He’s busiest on Monday.他星期一最忙。

He works hardest when doing something for his family.他为自己家做事时最卖力。

(4) 最高级前已有名词所有格或物主代词时，不用the。

He is my best friend.他是我最好的朋友。

Hainan is China’s second largest island. 海南是中国第二大岛。

(5) 有时most是表示“非常”，而不是最高级，不用the。

He is a most amazing person. 他是一个非常了不起的人。

8. 比较

She is the best in her class.
　She is better than any other student in her class.

She is better than anyone else in her class.

She is better than any of the other students in her class.

She is better than all the other students in her class.

She is better than all the others in her class.
　No other student in her class is better than she.

No other student in her class is as good as she.
