科林英语第一级 

A Place to Live 教学设计

                   济源市坡头镇第一小学  卫利敏

教材分析

本绘本选自《科林英语》第1级,属于科普类绘本。本书主要讲述了两种熊、两种狐狸、两种老虎、四种鸟生活在不同的地方。文本比较简单,这些动物的单词学生都已学过或接触过。表达不同地方的单词生词较多。主要的语言结构简单,只有一句话:This ___ lives  here.

学情分析

本次授课对象为我校四年级(2)班的学生。他们已经学习了5本《科林英语》的一级绘本,已有一年多的英语学习基础,能用英语表达动物的大致特征,知道辅音字母的发音,元音字母的发音,还有几个字母组合的发音,能指认封面中的题目、作者。但学生综合运用语言的能力较弱,不会用英语表达自己想说的内容。

教学设计思路

  绘本是对教材知识的拓展,学习绘本的目的主要是巩固课本,拓展新知,激发兴趣。基于教材和学情分析,在本节课中我采用了指导性阅读教学法。引导学生在情境中打开思维,大胆地说,尽可能用自己所掌握的语言进行简单的表达;在遇到生词时,重视学生词汇认读能力的培养,启发鼓励学生自己读出单词、句子。

教学目标

1.学生在图片的帮助下能够理解绘本大意,能够运用所学语音知识读出生词。

2.学生能够用正确的语音语调诵读故事,能复述绘本内容。

3.学生能用This _____ lives here/in the mountain/jungle/desert/ ice and snow.描述动物生活在哪个地方。

教学过程:

Step 1 Warm up

1、Greetings and free talk

2、Sing a song: Old McDnald

T: Where are the ducks? What animals on the farm do you know?

(复习学生已学过的动物。)

引入课题,试读课题。Today we’re going to read a picture book.It’s about animals.师板写课题A Place to Live 生利用所学语音知识试读课题,由学生学过的have、 love师强调单词live中i-e的发音是不规则发音。

Step 2.Pre-reading

大屏幕出示绘本封面,生看封面回答、预测:

What do you see in the picture? What else animals are there in the book? Where does a bear live? Where does a fox live?

Step 3 While-reading

1.Enjoy the pictures

Look at the photograph on each page following the PREVIEW suggestions.

P2. What sort of a place do you think this bear lives in? How can you tell?  引出 ice and snow

P4. What sort of bear is this? What is different about the place where it lives?  引出mountain

P6. Where does this fox live? Why is this fox hard to see? 引出 desert

P8. What other animals live in a place like this?

P10. What is this animal? Where does it live? Is it cold or hot? How do you know? 引出jungle

P12. What is different about the place this tiger lives?

  What do you think it might find to eat?

P14. What do you notice about the places birds can live?

2.Reading the text

(1) Students read in pairs.

(2)Students listen to the tape and repeat.

(3)Students show their reading aloud.

Step4.Post-reading

1. Use the words in the book to give some examples about pronunciation of vowels or letter combinations.

Animals live everywhere.

Step5.Homework

1.write the new words on your Dictionary Book.把今天遇到的生词写到单词积累本上。

2.Draw a picture and write a sentence in imitation of the text.模仿课本内容画一幅图并写一句话。

3.Sweep the code , listen to audio and repeat.扫码听录音跟读。
