Unit One  Seasons and Weather  (复习课)

一、 教材分析：

    本课时选自粤人民2011课标版三年级起点《英语》五年级上册。本节课是一节单元复习课，在现有的英语基础知识面以及教材内容上，我对本册已学和之前学过的相关句型和内容进行了优化整合。主题内容是紧密围绕天气这个话题，分别从城市与天气、季节与天气、生活与天气以及自然与天气四个部分展开讨论。这四个部分是逐层递进的，有效地实现了语言的交际性以及人文性的结合。根据五年级学生对现有知识的掌握程度，教学内容整合了本册已学和之前学过的相关句型和内容，主要包括：

  1、词汇：

  季节与天气：  spring/summer/fall/winter/sunny/rainy/windy/cloudy/hot/warm/

cold/cool

  衣物：jacket  dress  coat  cap  sweater  shoes  socks   shoes  pants  

shorts  glasses  tie   belt   gloves

  水果：banana/apple/orange/grape/peach/watermelon/cherry/pear

  活动：swim/go to the park/go to the beach/play basketball/make a snowman/

ride a bike/go ice-skating/read some books …

  2、句型：

  谈论季节与天气：

  基础句型:What season do you like? I like …  /Whats the weather like ? It’s / Is it …? Yes, it is. No, it isn’t. 

  拓展句型: What will the weather be like? It will be ...

  谈论水果：What fruit can you eat in summer?  I can eat …

  谈论穿着：What do you wear in summer?       I wear …

  谈论活动：What do you like doing in summer?     I like  …

二、 学情分析：

五年级学生注意力不稳定、难持久，喜欢新鲜事物，对具体形象有依赖性，也有很强的创造性和想象力，已掌握一定的英语基础知识和学习技巧，喜欢通过歌曲、游戏、动画、表演等方式学习英语。

三、教学目标：

语言知识目标

    了解字母y在单词中的发音规律，能根据发音规律正确拼读简单的单词。掌握有关季节天气的单词；能正确运用以下句型谈论季节和天气以及相关活动。What season do you like? I like … / What’s the weather like ? It’s …/  Is it …? Yes, it is. No, it isn’t.What will the weather be like? It will be ...

语言技能目标

    能听懂歌曲、诗歌等听力材料，能根据已学知识介绍某个城市的天气情况并介绍自己最喜欢的季节和天气以及相关的生活信息。能读懂与本单元有关的文章并且完成判断练习。能写出自己最喜欢城市季节天气特征并且利用Maka软件制作成精美视频。

情感态度目标

培养学生感知语言，提高语言的综合运用能力。通过学习，学生认识到天气有好坏之分，要学会判断天气并且随时为坏天气做好准备。好天气、好心情给学生创设快乐的情绪。

学习策略目标

本节课以歌曲、游戏、视频、微客、QQ空间、微博、PPT、MAKA等各种现代化信息技术为教学手段，综合运用了听说法、情景交际法、任务型教学法、小组合作学习法、多媒体辅助法以及Core Dialogue（核心对话）等多种教学方法以及设计新颖的预习内容。旨在让学生随着话题的展开把存储的知识提取再现，体现了英语教学中“既重学得，又重习得”的原则。

文化意识目标

    跨学科课外自然科学知识拓展视野，引导学生向往并亲近大自然。通过全方位了解天气与生活的密切关系， 能通过自然现象观察天气变化，合理安排自己的活动，并及时在恶劣天气时做好防护措施。

四、教学重难点

教学重点 

   1、了解字母y在单词中的发音规律，能根据发音规律正确拼读简单的单词。

   2、熟练利用季节、天气和相关讯息进行交际会话。

   3、 能灵活运用学过的知识完成综合篇章练习。

教学难点

  1、能有效地结合网络数字信息技术完成学习任务并提高学习效率。

  2、能充分利用自主预习材料进行课堂练习。

StepⅠ. Greeting    

1. Free talk

T presents a video and Ps sing after the video.

3. T checks the Ps previewing work. (Ps send their previewing result to the T’s QQ zone before this lesson.)

    (通过聊天和唱歌点明教学主题，唱歌可以活跃气氛，同时对句型进行复习,通过QQ空间检查学生预习情况）

StepⅡ. Words and basic sentence patterns about seasons and weather

1. Game - Listen and guess

（1）T plays a sound. T: What’s the weather like? Ps: It’s ...

（2）Ps practice the dialogue in pairs by looking at the pictures.

   2. Game - Magic eyes

   （1）T shows the pictures quickly and Ps guess the weather by using “ Is it ...? Yes, it is. / No, it isn’t.”

   （2）Ps read the words together.

（通过“眼疾手快”巩固所学单词和句型，既能活跃课堂气氛，又能让学生迅速认读单词，巩固新知，并由此渗透语音“Y”的教学。)

   3. The sound of letter “Y”

 （1)T plays a video of the sound of letter “Y”. Ps listen carefully firstly and then they read themselves.

 （2）Ps read the words with letter “Y” again.

   （教师播放有韵律性的语音教学视频。教师在视频的前半部分进行师范，让学生复习Y的发音和拼读规律，教师在视频的后半部分给出了多个辅音和Y的组合，由学生自己拼读，可以发挥学生的学习创造性，同时也检测学生对发音规律的掌握情况）

   Step Ⅲ. Cities and Weather

    1. Talk about how to get weather information

     T asks the question “How to get weather information?” Ps discuss in groups of 4 and answer the question.

（承接上一节谈论天气，引导学生思考并讨论我们是如何获取天气信息的，答案是开放性的，训练学生的开放性思维，并且由此引入下一环节用现有的电脑搜索当天全国乃至世界各地的天气情况）

    2. Group work - Surf the internet and get the weather information of different cities.

   (1)T does a demo with a group.                  (2)Ps surf the net and find out the weather of different cities in China or in Foreign countries.

   Step Ⅳ. Seasons and weather

1. Ps enjoy a video about 4 seasons. 

   （美仑美奂的季节视频给学生以美的视觉刺激，让学生全身心投入到美丽四季的氛围中，同时让学生对四季的天气变化有了深刻的认识）

2.  Free talk

T: Different seasons have different weather. What’s the weather like in four seasons in Zhuhai?

Ps: It’s warm in spring. It’s ... 

（通过对珠海四季天气的谈话，复习了主要句型，把话题引入到教师最喜欢的城市珠海上。这时由前面对基础句型的练习进去到篇章和句型结合的练习）

3. A passage about the weather in different seasons of one’s favorite city.

   （1）T reads a passage about the seasons and weather of his favorite city.

（2)T asks one pupil about his favorite city and then asks the pupil to read his passage with the video made of Maka.

（教师展示自己的美文，然后用英语和一位同学讨论她的美文，最后让这位同学阅读他的美文，在同学阅读的同时，教师播放相关视频。Maka体现了新型多媒体信息工具在课堂上的有效运用。）

   （3）Ps discuss their passages and share their passages in groups.               

（4）Ps make report with the Maka video.

   （学生在小组里讨论并且阅读自己的美文，最后进行小组展示。这个环节体现了小组合作交流学习的精神。充分复习了主要句型，锻炼学生的阅读能力和交际能力）

（6）T notices that Ps can scan the QR code and send the video to their parents through We Chat.

   （Maka是一种新型的网络手机视频编辑器，教师课前把学生预习所写美文以及学生照片作成了视频，这个视频用于课堂讨论和分享，课后学生可以用手机扫描视频生成的二维码，把视频发送给别人。通过这样的活动，我们让学生体会到一种成就感，同时也体现了教学生成性资源的有效再运用。）

Step Ⅴ. Life and Weather

T shows some questions and talk about favorite seasons with the Ps.

3. Ps make a report.

(学生在课前对自己喜欢的季节以及这个季节所能吃、穿和做的事情进行记录。在课堂上，学生利用自己记录的信息进行小组内对话，可以是采访也可以是两两交谈。这个环节复习了这个单元和以前学过的一些主要句型，对本单元内容进行了拓展，训练了学生阅读表格提取信息进行英语活动的能力)

Step Ⅵ. Nature and Weather

   1. Good weather

   （1） Free talk

    ① T asks the question “How can we get weather information if we have no access to the net or any other modern tools?”    

② Ps discuss in groups of 4 and tell the T their answer. T conclude that we can get information from the nature.

   （2）A new dialogue 

    ① T shows some pictures about nature and present the following dialogue “What will the weather be like? It will be ...”

    ② T teaches the Ps to read the new dialogue. 

③ Ps discuss in group and find out the weather from the pictures about nature.

   （学生看关于大自然变化的图片，用英语讨论那些变化所代表的天气情况。学习和本单元相关的新句型 “What will the weather be like? It will be ...”,培养学生观察大自然的能力，不仅开拓了他们的视野，又拓展了语言知识。）

  （3） A poem about nature and weather.

   ① T presents a poem.

   ② Ps read the poem. 

   ③ Ps fill in the blanks of the poem.

   （通过欣赏和阅读优美的自然诗歌，巩固新学的对话，锻炼学生的英语阅读能力，让学生在诗歌以及大自然中感受到美。）

 2. Bad weather

  （1）A video about bad weather

  （2）Ps discuss what should they do when bad weather comes.

    (教师播放关于自然灾害的视频，让学生体会到大自然也有让人恐惧的一面。让学生学会用英语表达一些防范措施，培养学生的自我保护意识。）

 3. A passage

  （1）Ps read a passage about seasons and weather and use the computer to choose the best answers to the questions.

  （2）Ps send their answers to the T’s computer.

  （3）T counts the accuracy.

    (教师把本课谈论过的话题浓缩成一篇短文,学生通过阅读和选择答案主动意识到本课所学的主要知识，同时锻炼学生的阅读能力。这是本节课语言知识的升华，由最初的基本句型到核心对话到表格信息提取，最后达到一篇小短文的阅读，老师如此层层深入地带领学生有效学习。）

   （学生通过电脑平台做题，把答案发到老师电脑上，老师可以即时对学生做题情况进行统计和评价，体现了多媒体信息工具在课堂上的实时性和有效性。）

Step Ⅶ. Conclusion

T: Boys and girls, you did a good job in this class. Today we talked about cities and weather, seasons and weather, life and weather, nature and weather. Weather is very important in our life. We hope we can have good weather and good mood.

   （教师总结本课所讨论到的几个主题：城市和天气，季节和天气，生活和天气以及自然和天气。教师鼓励学生多观察大自然，期待大家有好天气和好心情，进行情感升华。

Now it is spring. Please make a plan for outdoor activities and send the homework to the T’s QQ mailbox.

六、板书设计 

   本课的板书设计以春天为背景图，中间突出本课主题以及主要对话。在对话两边分别是代表春夏秋冬四个季节的四棵树，这四棵树代表了学生的四个大组。教师在上课的过程中用贴树叶的方式及时对学生进行评价。整节课结束之时，教师给予总结性评价并且宣布优胜组。这样的评价有利于提高学生的学习兴趣、增加学生的学习动力以及培养学生的集体精神。
