国籍：意大利

意大利汉学博士，专长于中国书法、中国文学和汉字研究，现为那波利东方大学亚非研究所研究员。毕罗曾师从书法家王承雄先生，并于2000年入中国美术学院进修书法；又于2004年入浙江大学攻读书法文字学，导师为陈振濂教授。2007年，毕罗以论文《孙过庭<书谱>研究》于那波利东方大学获得博士学位，随后两年又发表了《孙过庭之志气：<书谱>文体稿》和《孙过庭生平考》，并辑为一书。白谦慎先生在《中国书法在西方》一文中直言其为“在欧洲最优秀的书法史研究者”。近年来，毕罗专注于中国书法和中国文学研究，著述日丰，在《书法丛刊》、Asia Major（亚洲专刊）、Monumenta Serica (华裔学志)等中、英文期刊登有若干篇书学的论文。
