粉红猪Peppa开心地躺在泥坑里，泥水四溅，连书名都被溅成泥字了。可以想象peppa得是多么的开心了。

(题外话一下，爸爸妈妈们，你们回想一下，你的孩子有没有玩得这么开心过呢，假如是你，你会允许孩子在泥坑里打滚吗？孩子们要的其实都很简单，规矩少点，自由多点，玩玩泥巴，捡捡棍子（上周的史坦利的棍子）。。。都能让他很开心。)

Once upon a time, Mummy pig and Daddy pig were tucking Peppa and George into bed.

“there's so much rain!” Peppa said.

“That means there will be muddy puddles to jump in tomorrow.”Mummy pig smiled.

很久以前有一天，猪妈妈和猪爸爸正收拾佩佩和乔治进被窝里睡觉。

（从打开的窗户可以看见，外面雨正在淅淅沥沥地下着，两朵大乌云正盘踞在窗口。佩佩和乔治已经在被窝里睡好了。）

 “好大的雨啊！“佩佩说。

“那样明天就有泥坑跳啦！”猪妈妈笑着说。

 

The splish-splash-splosh of raindrops on the window sang Peppa and George to sleep, dreaming of muddy puddles.

窗外，噼里啪啦的雨滴唱着摇篮曲催着佩佩和乔治入睡，梦中有他们盼望的泥坑。

（佩佩和乔治呼呼睡着了，两个人做了什么梦呢？呵呵，原来，两个人都梦见在跳泥坑。看来跳泥坑真的是一件让人非常高兴非常期待的事情啊！）

While Peppa and George slept, it rained, and rained, and rained.

当佩佩和乔治睡着之后，雨不停地下啊，下啊，下啊。

It rained so much that the next morning, when daddy pig ran out to jump in a muddy puddle, he landed straight in a massive pool of water!

“Oh! Who put all this water here?”Daddy pig said as he swam back to the house.

“And where are the muddy puddles?”asked Peppa.

雨下得太大了，以致于第二天早上，当猪爸爸跑出去跳泥坑时，他直接掉进了一个巨大的水池里面。

“噢！是谁把这些水放这里了？”猪爸爸游回房子时说。

“泥坑在哪里呢？”佩佩问。

 

“Our house is like a desert island!”

Peppa laughed, looking at all the water.

“Oh dear,”Mummy pig said.           

“How will we get our food?”

“我们的房子就像一个荒岛！”佩佩看着那一大片茫茫的水，笑着说。

“哦，天哪!”猪妈妈说。

“我们该怎样获得我们的食物啊？”

（与前一个页面几乎一样的画面，房子还是那样的房子，深暗的夜空变成了湛蓝的天空，云朵也变成白色的，整个画面非常的优美，看着是不是有一种很享受的感觉呢。还有那嘎嘎叫着在水里欢快游泳的鸭子，欢快地一天要开始啦！）

Granny and Grandpa arrived on their boat.

“Ahoy, there！”Grandpa Pig said.

“Wonderful boating weather!”

“Do you need anything from the shop?”Granny Pig said.

“Can we come too?”Peppa said.

“Yes! Then you can help us get shopping for everybody!”

猪奶奶和猪爷爷开着他们的船来了。

“喂！”猪爷爷说。

Polly copied. Polly was good at copying what people said!

“波利可以当我们的采购清单！她非常擅长记东西。”猪奶奶看着波利说。

Luckily, Peppa remembered what everyone wanted! Grandpa pig sailed back from submarine by boat to house.

“奶酪！”佩佩说。

“It was lucky Peppa was going to the shops,”said Mummy sheep. “Or else we'd have nothing for dinner.”

“Did you have fun sailing with grandpa?”Mummy pig asked.

“Maybe there will be some muddy puddles tomorrow,”Daddy Pig said.

晚上，佩佩和乔治回到家里。

The next morning, the sun was shining brightly in the clear blue sky. Polly Parrot flew with a sprig of leaves in her beak to show them all that the water had gone. She landed on grandpa pig's boat that was now stuck on peppa's front lawn.

第二天早上，太阳灿烂地照耀着湛蓝的天空。鹦鹉波利衔着一根树枝飞来了，让大家知道所有的水都已经退下去了。波利停在猪爷爷的船上，那船现在卡在佩佩家门前的草地上。
