水立方南侧的北顶娘娘庙

早就知道建鸟巢、水立方的时候有个娘娘庙，但一直没去过，那天看了地图后才知道娘娘庙的方位，是在水立方的南侧。今天天气凉爽，于是专程去了一趟。从水立方的安检入园，顺着路往南走大约200米左右就到了。

北顶娘娘庙，位于北京中轴线北延长线的北端，北京北端的标志性建筑。北京地区五顶八庙中五顶之一，庙内原供奉碧霞元君、天仙娘娘、送子娘娘、东岳大帝、关帝、药王等神祇。北顶娘娘庙在明清时期为北京地区信仰碧霞元君的活动中心之一，为皇家敕建庙宇，始建于明宣德年间，清乾隆年间奉敕重修，占地面积约9700平方米，与国家体育场、国家游泳中心毗邻。因为北顶娘娘庙位于北京奥运会主场馆最初的规划设计中，为保护北顶娘娘庙，国家游泳中心向北移动了一百余米，现如今已成为奥林匹克公园中一部分，现为北京民俗博物馆分馆。
