Step1.Class opening
Let’s sing a song together.”Where is Jenny?”
Step2.Presentation
1.
This is emma,this is little zeke,guess their relations.
Listen again and talk about the pictures.
Where are they?
How many friends does Emma have?
Guess where little Zeke is? Explain “hide”.

What does little Zeke do? Watch the movie again and try to answer.
He helps Emma.
He puts an apple on the teacher’s desk.
Let the ss act out the dialogue .

A new pupil comes to Emma’s class,what do Emma and Little Zeke do? Watch the movie and circle “Yes” or “No”.
Talk about the picture and exclain “afraid”.
Ask the ss when they are afraid and try to act out.
Why does Tess feel sad and afraid?
Let’s see what does Little Zeke do? Help the ss answer “He writes to Emma”.

Let’s see the end the story and read together.
Step3.Watch the movie and judge the information.
Step4.Read the story and try to act out the story in groups.
