关于《王三丰》挑战全世界攀登世界文学顶峰

致挪威诺贝尔学院与挪威“读书会”的公开信

尊敬的挪威诺贝尔学院与挪威读书会：

向有作为有贡献的学院和读书会致敬!

称贵院与读书会“有作为，有贡献”，是缘于2002年贵学院与读书会共同发起的那次“文学世奥”。即请世界50多个国家的百多位名作家名学者对全世界所有世纪的文学艺术作品进行评选的活动。那是次世界有史以来规模最大规格最高也最权威的一次评选，全世界瞩目，知名度信誉度都很高，是对21世纪前的世界文学艺术作品的一次总梳理，是对世界文学、文化、文明的大贡献，值得全人类感谢。我作为人类的一分子，也对那次评选活动心存感激，然而，作为一个中国人，在感激的同时却感到深深的羞丑，那是给东方大国的狠狠一鞭子。

上榜100部作品，欧美占比82%，有14亿人口五千多年文明史的东方大国却只有鲁迅的一部中短篇小说集上榜，仅占1%。巨大的羞丑感涌入我心田，久久不能平静。中国文学真的如此不堪嘛，绝不是。中国文学肯定有许多不足，但中华民族的文学文化文明绝不比世界任何国家任何民族低，看来世界并不真正了解中国，对中华民族的认识太肤浅了。但责任不在世界而在中国人自己，是中国文学对人类文明的贡献太少，没有给世界留下深刻印象。这值得全世界的华人思考。

然而，我不想争辩历史上被忽视的光荣，挨了当今的鞭抽，得用当今文学的金牌赢回来。虽然我只是一名中国的无名作家，但中华民族不服输的精神完整，不愿落人后的傲骨犹存，我也有责任替中国文学替中华民族赢回这口气。于是我发誓，要用文学洗雪此羞丑，把先进的中华文化和高贵的中华文明介绍给世界，既让世界认识中华民族中华文化和中华文明，也为人类的进步和文明做应有的贡献。

我花了20年时间，打磨出了长篇小说《王三丰》，主人公是给中华民族的画像，他携带的完全是中华文化和中华文明。它是来替中华民族致敬世界服务世界为全人类的文明进步添砖增瓦的。中国文学因贵院与读书会发起的“文学世奥”而蒙羞，也希望经贵院与读书会之手洗雪。我希望于贵院与读书会的是：

将我的这封挑战书向全世界公开，并将《王三丰》展示给世界，让全世界评判，重新审视中国文学，了解中华文化和中华文明，认识真正的中华民族。我郑重告知：《王三丰》是东方文化和文明的使者，是把中华民族先贤和释迦牟尼尊者发现的宇宙终极真理转呈全人类，使全人类都能更迅捷地告别落后的“工业文明时代”，进入大光明的“文化文明时代”。

这是《王三丰》呈送全世界的初衷。它所持观点是：《王三丰》是世界文学史上最美丽最伟大最光辉最有价值超越了21世纪前所有文学大师的顶峰作品，是一轮能照亮全世界利益全人类的“文学月亮”。但这需要世界验证，所以它以挑战全世界的姿态出现，请全世界有实力的作家拿自己的作品来比拼，评论家亦可用本国最厉害的名家名著来比拼。比如“塞万提斯、哈谢克、果戈理（世界喜剧小说大师前三名），莎士比亚、托尔斯泰、巴尔扎克（世界悲剧文学泰斗前三名）”等，本人来者不拒。待《王三丰》打败全世界登上世界文学顶峰，请贵院以2002年“文学世奥”补充榜单的形式告知世界，《王三丰》正式取代《堂吉诃德》，成为世界文学第一名。

此文后附本人对《王三丰》的自我评价论文5篇，请贵学院和读书会先做鉴定，看我所述是否属实，有无资格挑战全世界。

不要把它看成一次简单的文学大赛，挑战的意义在促进世界文学的繁荣，在促进世界先进文化和人类高贵文明的展示和传播，是对人类文明的一次促进。

很遗憾，我的小说还是电子文件，因为小说里有中国政府不允许出现的内容，因此我投稿15年也无一家出版社敢抗令出版，敬请阅读者见谅。

An Open Letter to the Norwegian Nobel Committee and the Norwegian Book Club on "Wang Sanfeng" Challenging the World and Reaching the Pinnacle of World Literature

Dear Norwegian Nobel Committee and Norwegian Book Club,

I would like to pay my respects to your accomplished and contributive institutions. I refer to your "Literary World Olympics" co - initiated in 2002. In this event, over a hundred renowned writers and scholars from more than 50 countries around the world were invited to select literary and artistic works from all centuries. This was the largest - scale, highest - standard, and most authoritative selection in history, attracting worldwide attention and enjoying high popularity and credibility. It was a comprehensive review of world literary and artistic works before the 21st century, making a great contribution to world literature, culture, and civilization. All of humanity should be grateful for this. As a member of the human race, I am also appreciative of this selection activity. However, as a Chinese person, while being grateful, I feel deeply ashamed. It was like a harsh lash to the great Oriental country. Among the 100 shortlisted works, European and American works accounted for 82%, while the great Oriental country with a population of 1.4 billion and a civilization history of over 5,000 years had only one collection of short and medium - length novels by Lu Xun on the list, accounting for merely 1%. A strong sense of shame has welled up in my heart and has been lingering for a long time. Is Chinese literature really so inferior? Absolutely not. Although Chinese literature surely has many shortcomings, the literature, culture, and civilization of the Chinese nation are by no means lower than those of any other country or nation in the world. It seems that the world doesn't truly understand China and has a superficial understanding of the Chinese nation. But the responsibility lies not with the world but with the Chinese themselves. Chinese literature has made too little contribution to human civilization and failed to leave a deep impression on the world. This is something that all Chinese people around the world should ponder.

However, I don't want to argue about the glories that were overlooked in history. Having been lashed in the present, we should win back with the gold medal of contemporary literature. Although I am just an unknown Chinese writer, the indomitable spirit of the Chinese nation is intact, and the pride of not wanting to fall behind still exists. I also have the responsibility to win back this honor for Chinese literature and the Chinese nation. Therefore, I vowed to wash away this shame with literature, introduce the advanced Chinese culture and noble Chinese civilization to the world, so that the world can recognize the Chinese nation, Chinese culture, and Chinese civilization, and also make my due contribution to the progress and civilization of humanity.

I spent 20 years polishing the novel Wang Sanfeng. The protagonist of this novel is a portrait of the Chinese nation, carrying the essence of Chinese culture and civilization. It comes to pay tribute to the world on behalf of the Chinese nation, serve the world, and contribute to the progress of human civilization. Chinese literature was shamed because of the "Literary World Olympics" initiated by your committee and club, and I hope that it can be redeemed through your hands.

What I hope from your committee and club is to make this challenge letter public to the world and present Wang Sanfeng to the world, allowing the world to judge, re - examine Chinese literature, understand Chinese culture and civilization, and recognize the real Chinese nation. I solemnly declare that Wang Sanfeng is an envoy of Oriental culture and civilization. It presents to all mankind the ultimate truth of the universe discovered by the sages of the Chinese nation and Venerable Sakyamuni, enabling all mankind to more quickly bid farewell to the backward "Industrial Civilization Era" and enter the bright "Cultural Civilization Era". This is the original intention of presenting Wang Sanfeng to the world. It holds the view that Wang Sanfeng is the most beautiful, greatest, most glorious, and valuable work in the history of world literature, surpassing all literary masters before the 21st century. It is a "literary moon" that can illuminate the world and benefit all mankind. However, this needs to be verified by the world. Therefore, it appears in a posture of challenging the world. Writers with strength around the world are welcome to compete with their own works, and critics can also use the most outstanding masterpieces of their own countries to compete. For example, "Cervantes, Hašek, Gogol (the top three masters of world comedic novels), Shakespeare, Tolstoy, Balzac (the top three giants of world tragic literature)", etc. I will not decline any challengers. When Wang Sanfeng defeats the world and reaches the peak of world literature, I hope your committee can inform the world in the form of a supplementary list of the 2002 "Literary World Olympics" that Wang Sanfeng officially replaces Don Quixote as the number one work in world literature.

Attached to this letter are five self - evaluation papers of Wang Sanfeng. Please, your committee and club, make an appraisal first to see if what I said is true and whether I am qualified to challenge the world. Don't regard this as just a simple literary competition. The significance of this challenge lies in promoting the prosperity of world literature, the display and dissemination of advanced world culture and noble human civilization, and it is a boost to human civilization.

Regrettably, my novel is still in electronic form. Because there is content in the novel that is not allowed by the Chinese government, no publisher has dared to violate the order and publish it in the past 15 years. I hope readers can understand this. Words cannot fully express my thoughts. I deeply apologize for the inconvenience caused to your committee and club!
