Why do you like koalas?教学设计

教学目标

1、掌握并能熟练运用句型:Why do you like…? Because they’re…来表达自己的爱好并说明原因。

2、能听、说单词:

tiger,elepphant,lion,dolphin,giraffe,koala,panda,penguin.

3、形容词 smart,cute,interesting,fun 的运用。

4、以活动为途径,渗透任务型教学,让学生在乐中学,寓教于乐。

5、通过小组竞赛和激励性评价,让学生学会沟通合作,形成良好的团队精神。

情感态度

通过一系列活动,培养学生学习英语的兴趣和培养学生主动学习与合作学习的能力。同时渗透思想教育,即动物是我们的朋友,要爱护动物。

教学重、难点

能熟练运用所学句型来形容动物,表达自己的爱好并说明原因。

教学资源:

多媒体课件、单词卡片、字母卡片、动物玩具、动物头饰、录音机。

教学步骤:

Warm-up(2分钟)

1Creeting: Nice to meet you! Hello,how are you?…

2Sing a song:“How are you?”

(师生对唱,相互问候,营造活跃轻松课前气氛,使学生带着积极和活跃的心态投入课堂中)

Presentation(30分钟)

1lead-in

T: Look at this toy,what animal is it?(show students a rabbit toy)

Ss:Rabbit.

T: That’s right. And what about this one?(show students a monkey toy)

Ss:Monkey.

T: Good! How many kinds of animals do you know? Can you tell me in English?

Ss:Catdog…

2presentation

T: Do you know these animals? Look at the big screen,please.

Look,what is this?

Ss:Tiger.

T: Good.a tiger,it is a tiger.They are tigers.

   Listen!What animal’s sound do you hear?

S1:Maybe it is a pig.

S2:I think it is a lion.

…T: Oh,look! What is it in fact?It is an elephant.

Ss:It is an elephant.

…(这一环节利用多媒体的生动,直观效果,通过听声音猜动物,看背景猜动物,看头像猜动物等不同方式呈现新单词,让学生通过强烈的听觉、视觉效果来认知新知识)

3.Match the words with the animals in the picture.(student’s book,la)

4.Listen and check the animals you hear.(1 b)

5.Game:Find family members(Task1)

One student come to the front of the classroom and hold up his/her card:

t ger and ask:Where is my family member? The one who hold the letter“i”say:“I’m here”and quickly come and stick the missing letter on the word card.

(课前发给每个学生一张写有单词或字母的卡片,最短时间内找到家庭成员的小组获胜。通过游戏增加学生学习的趣味性,有游戏的轻松气氛中完成任务。同时引入竞争机制,增强学生的竞争意识和激发学生学习的热情)

6. Teach new sentence

T:  Well,I want to see all these animals in one place,where should I go?

Ss:Go to a zoo.

T: Then let’s go.(present flash)

(利用动漫,节奏分明的音乐和朗朗上口的Chant,带领学生们向动物园走去,运用TPR(全身肢体反应)的理念,让学生模仿动物的动作,再次激起学生的兴奋点,让课堂高潮迭起)

Chant:Zoo,zoo,go to the zoo. Tiger,tiger,see the tiger. Lion,lion,over there.

Zoo,zoo,go to the zoo. Dolphin,dolphin,in the sea. Panda,panda,in the tree.

T:Here we are! We are at the gate of the zoo. What do you want to see?

(呈现熊猫在树上睡觉和跳绳的两张图画)say:I want to see pandas.I like pandas.Because they are cute.What about you?

Ss:I want to see…

T: Why do you want to see…

Ss:Becaue they are cute/interesting/fun/smart/…

(学生思考并各抒已见,有利于培养他们的语言交际能力,同时引出新

句型)

7.Drill

A:Let’s see the lions.

B:Why do you want to see the lions?

A:Because thay’re cute.

(集体,小组,两人,个人轮流等多种方式操练新句型)

Application(10分钟)

1. Make disalogues (Task2)

Divide the whole class  into 8 groups,Each group represents a kind of animal,and the representatives put on the animal masks.The whole class is a big zoo.The students travel around the zoo and make dialogues.

(设置真实情景,教室是动物园,学生参观并用新句型对话。任务完成后,师生共同评出优胜组。轻松的气氛,真实的情景,有助于学生巩固重点,突破难点)

2Listen,match and fill in the blank

 Summary  (2分钟)

TBoys and girls,you’ve done a good job.We know  more animals today.And animals are our friends,we should protect them.(渗透思想教育)

Now let’s see what we learnt today.(Look at the screen and read togeher)

Homework (1分钟)

T:Boys and girl,today’s homework is: tell your friends and your parents why you like some kind of animal.(巩固新学知识)

T:Good-bye,class!

反思:

我在设计这节课的时候,充分考虑到初一学生的好奇心,利用了多媒体课件、单词卡片、字母卡片、动物玩具、动物头饰、录音机等多种教学手段,激发学生的兴趣。目标明确,过渡自然。注重学生对词、句基本技能的培养。整节课在乐中学,学中用。教学目标既与教学过程相契合,也与教学过程相区分,培养了学生的认知能力,也注重培养学生的技能。在教学中渗透了情感的教育,培养学生对动物的热爱和保护动物的意识。

    但我也认为,在最后一个环节,创造真实的教学情境方面,如能增加多一些道具,这样尽量做到人人参与,营造一个更真实的气氛,则效果会更好一些。
