教材分析:

本课是第四单元 “My Favourites”系列学习主题之一“ My Favourite Subjects”,教材提供了相关的情景模式以便学生进行对话依照,教学内容以学生为中心,围绕最常用、最基本的英语词汇和句型交际用语逐步展开教学内容。丰富多彩的练习形式使学习活动化,活动交际化,即贴近了生活,所以能充分调动学生的求知欲和学习热情。通过本课的学习,要让学生能用英语来谈论自己喜欢的学科。

学情分析:

四年级学生对英语学习有浓厚兴趣,且英语口语表达能力较强,课堂中能灵活运用语言材料,在虚拟的情景中进行真实的交流,语言流畅,有一定的创造力和感染力。本课设计针对四年级学生的特点,把多种句型的练习融入到话题中去,鼓励学生通过体验、实践、讨论、合作、探究等方式,发展听、说、读、写的综合语言技能。

教学目标:

1、知识与技能:      

(1) 学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇:subject, Chinese, English, science, math, PE, art, music

(2) 学生能认读、理解并运用下列基本的句型结构:

— What’s your favourite subject?

— My favourite subject is …

2、情感态度: 

(1)继续培养学生学习英语的兴趣和好奇心;

(2)学生乐于模仿,敢于开口;

(3)培养学生学会细腻清楚地表达“我最喜欢的……”的感情的语言的能力。提高自我意识。

3、学习策略:

(1)养成听录音和跟读句子的习惯;

(2)学习时要集中注意力;

  (3)经常学习和说唱英语歌曲,歌谣,以便于所学语言的记忆和巩固。

教学重、难点:

1、学生能够听懂、会说、认读并书写有关学科的词汇subject, Chinese, English, science, math, PE, art, music

2、学生能够认读、理解并运用下列基本的句型结构What’s your favourite subject? My favourite subject is …描述自己及他人喜爱的学科。

高效侧重点:词汇

教学准备:

教学光盘,多媒体课件,“My Friend”卡片,词汇卡。

教学过程:

Class Opening and Review (3minutes)

1、Greeting the class with: Good morning! How are you?

【设计意图:用一些日常用语和孩子们进行对话,锻炼提高孩子们的口语能力。】

2、Let’s sing: “Red, Yellow, Blue and Green Stand up”

【设计意图:用歌曲来复习颜色词汇及最喜爱的句型表达,为本节课做铺垫。并提高学生学习的积极性,能快速的平静他们的心情,从操场上回到课堂上。】

3、Review:

T: We have many beautiful colour.

What’s your favourite colour? (Write on the blackboard.)

S1: My favourite colour is…(Write on the blackboard.)

T: Do you know my favourite colour?

My favourite colour is red. (Point to the clothes.)

So I like this dress.

Do you like dresses?

What’s your favourite clothes?

T: Oh! I’m a little hungry. I want to eat. Chicken is my favourite food.

What’s your favourite food?

4、导入新课

T: OK! My favourite colour, favourie clothes, and favourite food are my favourites.

Today, let’s continue to study My Favourite…. Oh! What is it? Please follow me. Let’s see.

New Concepts: (27minutes)

1、What subject is it?

T: Look! What is it?

Draw the picture of “music”

T: What is it?

This is music. (Play the audiotape) Follow it, please.

Read “music”.

T: Music. [m] Which letter pronounce [m]?

Ss: M. (Write on the blackboard.)

T: Music. [z] Which letter pronounce [z]?

Ss: S. (Write on the blackboard.)

T: Which letter pronounce [k]?

Ss: C. (Write on the blackboard.)

T: Music. [ju:] Which letter pronounce [ju:]?

Ss: U. (Write on the blackboard.)

T: Music. [i] Which letter pronounce [i]?

Ss: I. (Write on the blackboard.)

T: Let’s spell music.

Ss: M-U-S-I-C. Music.

T: Who can spell?

Ask three students to spell.

T: Do you like music?

Ss: Yes.

T: I like music, too. We can sing songs.

Teach “math, Chinese, English, science, PE and art” with the same way.

T: Do you like art?

Ss: Yes.

T: I also like art. I also like art means I like art, too.

Read also, clap the hands.

T: Music is a subject. Math is a subject. They are all subjects. Follow me, subject.

Teach “subject”.

【设计意图:运用“义、音、形” 三位一体教学方法来教学词汇,即:简笔画呈现,掌握单词的“义”; 在正确的读音中感悟,掌握单词的“音”;根据发音规律,利用自然拼读法掌握单词的“形”,使学生有效地识记词汇。】

Read the subject words after teacher.

(2) Game: What’s missing?

(3) Read the cards of words.

【设计意图:游戏巩固学科词汇并充分调动学生的学习积极性,使学生在快乐的活动中学习英语。】

T: These are our subjects. Today, we study “My Favourite Subject”. ( 揭开覆盖在“Subject”上的纸。 )

2、What’s your favourite subject?

T: So, we can ask: “What’s your favourite subject?” (贴上替换的subject)

Ask some students to answer. (做替换)

男女生问答

Practice in pairs.

3、Listen and answer

T: We have our favourite subjects.

What is Steven’s favourite subject? Let’s listen.

Listen and answer.

Now, let’s follow the tape. Please listen, What is Jenny’s favourite subject.

Play the audiotape while everyone follows along.

Ask students to answer.

Read again. 注意模仿他的语音、语调。

Read the text in groups.

【设计意图:让学生带着问题去听音,培养学生倾听的习惯,练习学生的听力技巧与表达能力。】

Practice (10 mimutes)

1、Let’s do it

Show the picture.

T: Now, let’s make a chart in pairs. Open your books. Please write your and your partner’s name in these blanks. Then ask: “What’s your favourite subject?” Listen and tick.

2、Make a survey

T: Now, please take out your cards about your friend.

我们学校正在进行校园文化建设,教室外面的墙上有一块展牌。那么我们英语就此展开了介绍“My Friend”的评选活动。优秀的作品就会贴到展牌上。

In Unit 3, we have wrote your friend’s name, age and height. We also drew some beautiful pictures on it. Today, we continue to complete it.

教师做示范,学生活动。

T: Please introduce your friend like this.

【设计意图:结合本校的校园文化建设,为学生创造真实的语言环境,让学生在调查中了解朋友的喜好,培养学生小组合作能力,更加自然地把英语应用于会话活动中。】
