欧阳询楷书《兰亭记》，唐太宗贞观二年（628）二月书，笔画挺秀劲遒，结体险绝严谨，气势高雅雄浑，堪谓欧体书法艺术宝库中的一颗明珠。 《兰亭记》原石久佚，拓本传世极少，且忽隐忽现，见者寥寥。精湛的书法艺术令人倾倒，对于学习欧书者来说，更是一本难得的好教材。

欧阳询（557年一641年），汉族，唐朝潭州临湘（今湖南长沙）人，字信本，楷书四大家之一。南朝梁太平二年（公元557年）出生于衡州（今湖南衡阳），祖籍潭州临湘（今湖南长沙）。

欧阳询与同代的虞世南、褚遂良、薛稷三位并称初唐四大家。因其子欧阳通亦通善书法，故其又称“大欧”。
