林散之，名霖，字散之，号三痴、左耳、江上老人等。生于南京市江浦县（今南京市浦口区），祖籍安徽省和县乌江镇，诗、书、画“当代三绝”，其书气、韵、意、趣，超凡脱俗、深邃隽永，被誉为“草圣”。

林散之临写的《礼器碑》一字千金，艺术价值极高，泽被后学，给我们学习书法，不仅仅是学习隶书，有三大发现和启示。

第一、入贴深，观察细，笔画交代清清楚楚。

林散之说过：对碑帖看不进去的人，肯定学不进去。

第二、笔法精，会用力，点画刚劲活活脱脱。

林散之说过：学写字，二三十岁就要学会笔法。执笔要用力，写字要用劲，但不是死劲，是活的，力量要用在笔尖上。字硬、直，无味。笔为我所用，愈写愈活，笔笔自然有力。

第三、体势准，意境高，妙得古碑内在精神。

林散之说过：用笔千古不易，结体因时而变，要能理解此中道理。学人的心要沉浸于知识的深渊，有创见，不动摇。别人理解，淡然；不解，欣欣然。谈艺术不是就事论事，而是探索人生。

二、《孔庙礼器碑》欣赏

《礼器碑》历来被推为隶书极则，书风细劲雄健，端严而峻逸，方整秀丽兼而有之。碑之后半部及碑阴是其最精彩部分，艺术价值极高，是汉碑中经典之作，攻汉隶者，多以《礼器》为楷模。

明郭宗昌《金石史》评云：“汉隶当以《孔庙礼器碑》为第一”，“其字画之妙，非笔非手，古雅无前，若得之神功，非由人造，所谓‘星流电转，纤逾植发’尚未足形容也。汉诸碑结体命意，皆可仿佛，独此碑如河汉，可望不可即也。”

清王澍《虚舟题跋》评云：“隶法以汉为奇，每碑各出一奇，莫有同者；而此碑尤为奇绝，瘦劲如铁，变化若龙，一字一奇，不可端倪。”又说，“唯《韩勑》无美不备，以为清超却又遒劲，以为遒劲却又肃括。自有分隶以来，莫有超妙如此碑者。”

清杨守敬也说：“汉隶如《开通褒斜道》、《杨君石门颂》之类，以性情胜者也；《景君》、《鲁峻》、《封龙山》之类，以形质胜者也；兼之者惟推此碑。要而论之，寓奇险于平正，寓疏秀于严密，所以难也。”
