Dear mr. Zou,
I know my friend mr. Li always give me a warm welcome and I am
always looking forward to see him again. I am very positive about
our cooperation and knowing we will face a lot of hurdles we
finally will finish a good way.
My next visit will be Sept 19th I think but George
will make the arrangements for me. During that visit I will also
bring one of my colleagues with me, Mr. Arno van Boheemen, who is

First of all thank you for
your hospitatlity and assistance during my visit of your
shipyard.
As discussed yesterday
during the closeout meeting, there are a few items I believe would
be beneficial for the shipyard to address in order to built ships
under LR class.
1. Welding consumables used
should be LR approved. Please see enclosed list of approved welding
consumables. It should be noted that for SAW welding the wire and
flux combination is an approved mix. Therefore these should be
sourced from the same maker.
2. Welding procedures should
be based upon Welding Procedures Qualification Records (WPQR)
including results of destructive testing.
