Lawrence Lessig（斯坦福法学院教授，CC许可证创始人）认为，这是一个极其重要的判例，是开源运动的一个重大胜利。它意味着，对于软件作者来说，开源协议是有保障的，作者受到法律保护；对于软件用户来说，使用免费得到的开源代码，并不意味你可以为所欲为，如果违反了原始协议，一样会受到法律惩罚。

美国围棋大会举办的比赛中，人工智能实现了历史性突破：围棋程序MoGo战胜了职业8段选手Myungwan Kim（Kim让9子）。程序运行的超级计算机有800个处理器，频率4.7 Ghz，总体性能15 Teraflops。Kim估计MoGo目前的实力约为业余2到3段。但与会者仍然被程序的表现惊住了，认为其中的一些走法达到了5段的水准。与人类相比，计算机程序依旧是被屠杀的对象。围棋被认为是棋类游戏中人类智能超越电脑的最后堡垒，但是如果摩尔定律能延续下去，人类胜过电脑的时间不会维持太久。

THE best password is a long, nonsensical string of letters and numbers and punctuation marks, a combination never put together before. Some admirable people actually do memorize random strings of characters for their passwords — and replace them with other random strings every couple of months.
Then there’s the rest of us, selecting the short, the familiar and the easiest to remember. And holding onto it forever.
I once felt ashamed about failing to follow best practices for password selection — but no more. Computer security experts say that choosing hard-to-guess passwords ultimately brings little security protection. Passwords won’t keep us safe from identity theft, no matter how clever we are in choosing them.
That would be the case even if we had done a better job of listening to inst

Last-minute attempts by online activists to halt an electronic ID card failed Tuesday when the U.S. Senate unanimously voted to impose a sweeping set of identification requirements on Americans.
The so-called Real ID Act now heads to President Bush, who is expected to sign the bill into law this month. Its backers, including the Bush administration, say it's needed to stop illegal immigrants from obtaining drivers' licenses.
