Something about his new veneers made
him seem like a joke. Not that they weren’t necessary--they were.
My dad had grown up outside of Lubbock where there was too much
fluoride in the water and as a result had had brown stains on his
four front teeth for as long as I had known him. His new teeth
covered the last trace of anything reminiscent of where he came
from.
He smiled wide for the company
website photo above the title “Chief Executive Officer.” He finally
looked the part. No one in his company would guess that he used to
drive a tractor for extra money during the summers on his parents’
cotton farm. Or that he used to play the banjo for the Sunday

covered over half of the book
the book's desighed heavy - heavier than it should be - maybe just
like life of the 'patients' in the mental hospital.
it keeps raining outside, and it's getting too dark for me to
continue reading. it's not the light that is darkening, it's
something else.
some pictures from the book, by patients
portrait
waves
mountains seen from the sky
and the country roads
machines
currently in the south, damp and hot
there's apperantly not too much i could do
and almost nothing i wanna do
just to stay in, and feel as if i'm gonna stay forever - or like
time's gonna stay still forever
went to a hot spring, went to the seaside. for the first
time i've been informed that i've used up the 240 text messages
included in my set in a single month - should i know earlier, i'd
choose a cheaper one.
i was thinking one sleepless night that there have to
be lessons ahead - dozens of things to learn, difficulties to be
met. it have to take lots of patience to get through and to
be better off. it's just lucky to have the loved
ones by my side - sometime consolation can be as easy as being
around - guess that's how love works, and i wish it works for long,
to make our journey an endless song.

my second book on DID - after 'First Person Plural: My Life as a
multiple'
this book's fantastic because of the details in treating the woman,
the relationship, trust, and love between the patient and her
psychologist.
it is amazing to know that the treatment went on for over 18 years,
during which time Dr. Bear kept 622 pages of their conversation
record, collect 44 peices of drawings, 49 pieces of handicrafts
(made by Caron's 17 different personalities), 12 tapes, and 2 vedio
tapes. in the due time, Caron sent Dr. Bear 275 e-mails, 60
postcards and over 5,000 pages of 'her' diary and letters.
their work were amazing and unimaginable. my tears went down when
Caron and Dr. Bear decided to end their work - the treatment,
though there's joy that Caron finally got herself through all
this.
life with DID can be VERY VERY HA
