1.走出图书馆。你可以拿到学位，有很高的平均分，但仍然没有为实际工作做好准备。大学是4年人生经历，不是几十个学分。
2.在你的宿舍里开始做生意。记住，雅虎、Google都会争先恐后地买你弄出来的网站。
3.别债务缠身。在普通的州立大学和名牌但昂贵的私立大学之间，最好选择前者。因为目前州立大学质量很好。从个人前途上看，无债一身轻比花钱买个名牌要有利得多。
4.积极参加校园的活动。比如有个二年级的学生去年给新生当校园导游，今年成了导游部的主任。通过这种活动，她学会了怎么理解、帮助别人和与人沟通。这在美国文化中，是所谓“领袖素质”的基础，找工作时会让别人另眼相看。
