HONG KONG — China’s central bank announced on Saturday evening
that it would allow greater flexibility in the value of the
country’s currency, in the clearest sign yet that China will allow
the renminbi to appreciate gradually against the dollar.

Modes of

It is assumed that all firms are
following rational decision-making, and will produce at the
profit-maximizing output. Given this assumption, there are four
categories in which a firm's profit may be considered.
