对苦难的讴歌是虚伪的--如果不思考并杜绝苦难所产生的原因；
对理想的颂扬是危险的--如果用权力来强迫别人接受你的理想。
'如今只有他宽恕一度喧嚣的众生'，这是海子的诗歌中最可耻的败笔。究竟谁享有'宽恕'的权利？在海子看来，领袖成了上十字架的耶稣，他高高在上地宽恕了芸芸众生，真是这样吗？
我认为，事实恰恰相反。施虐者宽恕被害者？这是什么混账逻辑？
宽恕的权力，不在领袖那里，而在普通公民们那里。
每一个死者和生者，每一个生活在中国土地上的、有良知和责任感的中国公民，都不会宽恕那些以诗歌和'主义'为面具，玩弄权术、满足个人私欲、践踏公民生命、破坏神州环境的历史罪人们

廷生：
你好。
我自觉很冒昧给你写信。
我原是不能接受给陌生人写信这样冒昧行为的人。
我曾经有过数次被文字打动的经历，也曾有过与这文字后的心灵结识的冲动。但出于漠然悲观的天性，最终宁肯默默地与文字交流。迄今为止从未写过一封给陌生人的信，但王小波的死给了我极大的打击，因为他就是我曾经想要写信的人。而如今，信还在心里酝酿，收信的人已渺然不知所向。我体味到了前所未有的痛心与悔恨。
世事喧嚣，人生寂寞。我一直以为，支撑我生活的动力，便是罗素所称的三种单纯然而又极其强烈的激情：对爱情的渴望、对知识的渴求，以及对于人类苦难痛彻肺腑的怜悯。而在这样的动力下生活，注定是孤独，无尽的、近于绝望的孤独。
我想，在这片已经不再蔚蓝、不再纯洁的天空下，如果还有一双眼睛与我一同哭泣，那么生活就值得我为之受苦吧。
于是，因为王小波，因为孤独，因为生命的脆弱与无助，我终于提起了笔，给你，严重而真诚。
