Overview
A hammertoe is a toe that's curled due to a bend in the middle
joint of a toe. Mallet toe is similar, but affects the upper joint
of a toe. Otherwise, any differences between
Hammertoes and mallet toe are subtle. Both hammertoe and mallet
toe are commonly caused by shoes that are too short or heels that
are too high. Under these conditions, your toe may be forced
against the front of your shoe, resulting in an unnatural bending
of your toe and a hammer-like or claw-like appearance. Relieving
the pain and pressure of hammertoe and mallet toe may involve
changing your footwear and wearing shoe inserts. If you have a more
severe case of hammertoe or mallet toe, you may need surgery

Overview
The smallest four toes of each foot have three bony segments
connected by two joints. Hammertoe is a deformity in which one or
more of the small toes develops a bend at the joint between the
first and second segments. The tip of the toe turns downward,
making it look like a hammer or claw. The second toe is the one
most often affected.
Hammer toes may be more likely to occur when the second toe is
longer than the first toe or when the arch of the foot is
flat.
Causes
Hammertoe is caused when muscles fail to work in a balanced manner
and the toe joints bend to form the hammertoe shape. If they remain
in this position, the muscles and tendons

Overview

A bunion is a bone
deformity caused by an enlargement of the joint at the base and
side of the big toe ( metatarsophalangeal joint ). Bunions form
when the toe moves out of place. The enlargement and its
protuberance cause friction and pressure as they rub against
footwear. The growing enlargement or protuberance then causes more
irritation or inflammation. In some cases, the big toe moves toward
the second toe and rotates or twists, which is known as Hallux
Abducto Valgus. Bunions can also lead to other toe deformities,
such as hammertoe.
Causes
Bunions develop when the pressures of bearing and shifting your
weight fall unevenly on the joints and tendons in your feet. This
imbalance in pressure makes your big toe joint unstable, eventually
molding the parts

the foot will be monitored. Once your blood pressure, pulse, and
