What Makes a good Tango Dancer (Leader)?

- A good tango dancer is someone who has rhythm, who has a good musical ear.

- He also has to respect the woman; he knows what to do at the right time with the right partner. He adapts himself to the woman, he makes her feel she is the best dancer,he dances for her.

-If he can execute complicated figures gracefully, he's excellent, but as long as he  can dance in harmony with his partner,then he's a good dancer(leader)

What are the qualities you look for in a good tango Partner?

- A good partner is one who not only follows me,but also listens to me, who dances.There's got to be such a connection that it doesnt look like she's following me. She also has to take pleasure in following. She has to be able to lose herself in the music,and lose herself in me.

国标中的探戈,是从阿根廷探戈发展演变而来。有分交谊性质与竞技性质。据闻,已列入08年奥运项目之一.

讲求细致稳定到位的动作要求。如：足部动作、重心移动、力量平衡、姿势和谐、升降、反身动作、摇荡、摆动、倾斜…等。

如赵丽蓉老师的名句：”探戈就是趟啊趟着走，三步一窜嘛两啊两回头，五步一下腰，六步一招手，然后你再趟啊趟着走。”

所以,就未接触过国标的人看来,似乎大家都跳得一样,都在一个框框里

而阿根廷探戈来说,它当然也有上述所说的舞蹈基础功夫在里头,但多以社交应用为学习方向.

就表像来看,明显不同的,一是两个人的拥姿,阿探有时为Close Embrace(亲密型拥抱),旁人看来,两人是脸贴着脸,胸贴着胸的…着实让人心惊胆跳!

二来是”花步”的不同.其中有许多”勾甩飞踢倾”的动作,三来是音乐的多变性,其中以”六角手风琴”的音乐元素煞是拨动人心的深处.也是阿探舞的代表符号之一.
