Among most commonly asked question from students is this: 'Exactly how long should I work on this to achieve my goal?' The real answer is this: 'who knows?', which would certainly cause frustration or even desperation.
A common misunderstanding among students is to confuse reciting vocabulary with learning language. The fact can not be more obvious when one notes that the most popular books concerning English learning are those on vocabulary. Studies show that markets are always irrational, and the reason is very simple: markets are customer-oriented, and customers are more often than not rational, albeit customers regard themselves as God. And of course no God would consider himself as an irrational being!
