I do think the author has some insightful ideas about China. Hope it won't be banned or cause any trouble. Really hope my country could be more open to different voices and opnions, even many of them are criticisms.

An interesting but also quite provocative piece. I would very much doubt that everyone in the US is making China as their biggest imaginary foe. However, I can definitely tell a sense of forsetalling towards China and as the article stated, an explicit intention to deter China from the US.

It's interesting that the frequency of the apperances of 'China' during question time in my Politics class appears to be substantial. It is largely due to the fact that the news pieces we have to read everyweek (set up by our Professor) usually have a lot about China. From the 'diaoyu island' to the controversy over the Chinese currency, from Chinese influence in sub-Africa to various US attempts to coerce an 'expansionary' China. By using 'expansionary', here I meant to refer to t
