'What's Your News?' is a children’s TV series aimed at 4-6 year olds. It is a news programme that concentrates on the milestones children reach in their development, from learning how to make a smoothie to doing up the buttons of their shirt. The news team is mainly made up of animated ants. The children are interviewed by a 3D animated roving reporter Gi-Ant, who talks 'live' from our locations with the children to the anchormen in the studio: Grant, the authoritative lynch pin ant of the operation and Antony, a reformed Anteater, amongst other characters. The pace of the programme is very energetic and upbeat.

The project was devised and is being produced with, and by, many ex-Henson people. The aim of all involved is to make a children's TV series that has extremely high production values and sits head and shoulders above the current crop of kids TV aimed at this audience. The 3D characters will be generated by live action 'virtual' puppeteers using 'motion capture' techniques - think Lord of the Rings / Golem! The programmes will most definitely stand out for all the right reasons when eventually broadcast, which will be in 2009.
