This weekend will be the most busy weekend this term.I have to review all my classes to get a good mark in the exams of next week.It is a very terrible job for me beacuse there are too many knowledge point needed to remember, which is a big challenge for my brain. What is worse, I had got a cold on Wednesday, so I feel very uncomfortable. The only big drive for me to review hard is that after next week, we will have a long holiday.
So work hard ! Then we will enjoy a relex holiday for almost 2 month!
By the way, this article will be the last one for my blog this term. I will update it in my holiday.
Goodbye, my friend! See you next time!
My Ideas on Scores(2007-01-10 18:56)
People's ideas on scores vary from person to person. Some think that scores are very important. They think in this way because scores have always been the only means to tell whether a student has a good command of the subject they have learned. To illustrate, they say scores are often used to determine whether a student should go to college or not. Scores are also used to decide whether he can further his study after graduation. Scores are still used to decide whether he can get a job in the job market. Others, on the other hand, holdthat scores are not so important as practical knowledge. They suggest that students with high scores at school are not necessarily competent in their work after graduation. Our society does not need those who can perform very well in examinations; instead, it needs those with practical skills.
I think both of the above views have their limitations. Having lots of theoretical knowledge without enough practical skills is n
Birth control(2007-01-09 20:46)

Since the Chinese Government singled out family planning as one of the basic state policies in 1978,the country has adopted various measures and achieved great success in birth control. The total birth rate has been decreasing gradually.

However,at present China's population is still growing very rapidly. It is reported that every year the population of this country increases by an extra 15 million and China is encountering a birth peak during the 2090s.It is abvious that China's economic development and improvement of people's living standards have been and will be greatly affected by the population.

Therefore,to control population growth more strictly is clearly essential to the country's reforms and economic development. We should restress the importance of birth control and call on the whole nation to make more effective actions

About Weight-losing(2007-01-08 22:38)
Nowadays weight-losing has become popular among young and middle-aged women. In order to make themselves pretty-looking, they try many different ways of losing weight.  Some go on a diet, some take exercise, some eat medicine ,others even turn to operation for help.  As a result,a lot of products have come into being, such as special medicines, tea and equipment. They are used in different ways and work differently, but some have side effects.
In my opinion, it's understandable that women seek beauty, but they should do it in a proper way.  Taking exercise is the way that I most favor.  But the other methods are likely to do harm to people's health more or less.
Mark Twain(2007-01-07 22:09)
Mark Twain is my favourite writers. He was not only a great writer but also a famous humorist.
He was born in a small Missouri village near the Mississippi River in 1835. His father, a poor lawyer, died when he was only twelve years old. So he had to leave school and make his own living. For ten years, he worked in printing shops in many cities. Then he became a riverboat pilot on the Mississippi. In 1861, Mark Twain became a miner in Nevada. During this period, he started to write short articles. It was as this time that he adopted the pen name 'Mark Twain'.
Later Mark Twain worked in San Francisco for a while and then became a miner again. In his spare time, he wrote a short story called Tile Celebrated Jumping Frog ofCalaveras Coun.ty. The story made him known all over the country. In 1867, he went to New York and that year published his first book. His next book, hmocentsAbroad, was published in 1869. It gave him
Friendship(2007-01-07 22:07)
In a broad sense, friendship exists between all human beings even though some of them may never know each other all their lives. If yoa are a peasant, you grow crops and provide other people with food. So you are their friend. In return, they will provide you with farming tools and advanced technology. So they are also your friends. Yoar friendship makes your life possible and easier.
Of course, friendship between familiar people is also important. When we are in trouble, we want other people to give us a hand; when we are upset, we need other people to give us comfort and encouragement. Friendship makes life more meaningful and beaatiful.
One important thing about friendship is that it should be consistent and lasting. We should be friendly to our friends even when they are poor and in bad luck. A friend in need is a friend indeed. Real friendship should stand the test of time and hardship.
In recent years, a lot of fake commodities have appeared in the market. These fake commodities have done great harm to the consumers and the society.
Since the policy of reform was implemented, China’s economy has improved. A lot of people getting richer, and their living conditions are getting better. But still some of them are not satisfied. They dream of getting rich overnight and living a heavenly life, which, of course, is impossible to achieve by fair means. So they risk breaking the law to produce the market take commodities.
Once these fake commodities enter the market, they will do immeasurable harm to the society. The direct victims are the consumers. As the quality of the fake commodities is always very poor, the consumers may suffer great losses. Certain fake commodities, such as food and medicine, will cause irreparable harm to the health and well-being of the consumers. Fake commodities also cut into the profits of the brand-name-owners. Since th
It has been estimated that a thousand years ago there were less than 400 million people on earth. However, in the recent thousand years human population has increased nearly 20 times. Nowadays the world population has reached more than 7000 million. The population explosion has caused many problems. Generally, they come down to four major ones.
First, a lot of people can't get employment, which is a universal problem in the world. Second, in developing countries there are not enough shelters for too many people and so people are not properly housed and even are exposed to the elements. Third, in underdeveloped countries a lot of people suffer from hunger because of  food shortage, which in turn causes many other problems, malnutrition, disease, etc. Fourth, there are not enough schools for so many people and so a lot of people are illiterate.
Therefore, to eliminate these problems, human beings should take effective measures to control population.
The pirated software means a great loss to the developers of the original software as the former erodes market shares of their original counterpart. Similarly, when the pirated movies attract more viewers, movie companies find their audience decreasing and accordingly their income down.
The other side of the coin is that the pirated software and movies promise their consumers a number of benefits. For one thing, they are much cheaper than the original. For another allow their customers cheaper access to more tools and entertainment. They are poplar because they seem to cater better for the interest of their customers.
Despite these seeming benefits, the pirated software and movies should be banned, because by nature they represent unfair competition in our economic life. encouraged or left out of control, they would upset normal competition and eventually lead to the breakdown of economic order. Software developers would cease to offer
Can Money Buy Happiness?(2007-01-05 09:46)
Can money buy happiness? Various people have various answers. Some people think that money is the source of happiness. With money, one can buy whatever he enjoys. With money, one can do whatever he likes. So, in their minds, money can bring comfort, security, and so on. Money, as they think, is the source of happiness.
But there are still a lot of others who think that money is the root of all evil. Money drives people to steal, to rob, and to break the law. A lot of people became criminals just because they were in search of money. And in the Western countries, there is nothing that can't be bought by money. Many people lose their own lives when hunting it.
I think that money is essential to life and we cannot do without money. But even though money is necessary to life, it can't buy happiness. Happiness is not something that can be measured by money. It is a state of mind. One can have plenty of money, with which he can buy whatever he wants, and at t
