~moving moving:)~(2006-10-17 13:35)
Hi! Because of some reasons, such as a few friends complained
that it's hard to open my blog...
So I moved the English part to:

I will write Chinese BLOG here once I can input Chinese,
hehe!

Good luck!
People keep asking me if I am homesick, whether I always call
home... Actually no... I don't feel lonely or sad not because
I don't miss my hometown, not miss my family and friends, just
everything here is so new that I haven't had time to have other
feelings excpet excitement. People know me well understand my
heart and mind. I am a inner strong person. I have always
reminded myself that looking forward, be brave!

Since Charles was not at home in the past 2 days, I lived alone.
spent 2 strange and very, very warm nights. I dreamt of my
homeland. The first night when he was gone, I dreamt of Tsinghua.
I brought him back to my dorm, borrowed a student card
from Quaner's bf Wenhai, then we went to swimming. After that we
had lunch with Coco. We were talking in Tsingtsing Pizza, about
It's quiet cool with learning English in the native environment.
Actually it's not an English study in common sence; it's totally
different from what we have to do in China. Living abroad, you
will find out living is learning, learning is living.

At the beginning, as myself, I found that speaking is quiet
difficult, because once I landed in Chicago, then got on my next
flight to Boston, I must started to open my mouth to ask,
otherwise I must lose my way... After arriving home, my husband
spoke a little chinese to me, in order to reduce my homesick and
not make me feel too weird. But his friends were curious about
me, they always had questions about me and our new life. Then
I must tell them what I saw, I thought, I felt... But it's amazing,
after some days, I felt speaking is not as hard a
~live alone in Boston~(2006-10-12 06:34)
Hehe! I am not alone, I have a home in Boston. Although so far this
home just includ a husband and a wife, it's a family already. :P But
from today, I will live alone in Boston for 2 weeks. Charles went
to another city to take a training then will head to Europe for his
next project. And I will go to jion him after getting my own visa,
which may be done within 2 weeks.

After saying good bye to him, I stared to miss him. Because of him,
I have never felt Boston is strange; because of him, I have never
had any homesick. I remember when I was in Japan, everything seemed
so far from me. When I crossed the street, I felt nothing had any
relationship to me. But now, even when he was away, I can smell his
scent in the air above the ground.

Maybe we had focused on each
~Party Time!~(2006-10-11 04:17)
So far, I have been to many parties in US, some were organized
by Charles, some were made by other people, so we were just
guests. I'd like to say these parties are quiet different from
what Chinese young guys used to do.
There are interesting points in my eyes. First, you may see
many new friends at every party, becaues the host must invite
different groups of his or her friends to the same party. Then
on the party, these people can make friends too. That's really
different from Chinese style. When I was in Beijing, I
attended reunion parties with my friends too. But they were
special and unique for one group, (may includ group members'
gf or bf). So there used to be reunion parties of the classmates
in University, high school, drama club or other groups. Of
course people&n
~Boston and Beijing~(2006-10-09 10:13)
It's hard to compare the life in Beijing and Boston, becaues
sometimes I feel these 2 cities are so different, but sometimes
they seem so similar to each other...

First of all, there are so many cars in Boston and Beijing. :)
People in Beijing are really feeling headache about the traffic.
Actually you also can see cars waiting in line in Boston. And
the parking problem must be more serious. But one thing is
obviously effective here which is the regulation. I have never
seen any car acrossing others by offending the rules. And
people can be really relaxed when corssing the streets. The
passengers can not only enjoy the priority to cross the street,
but also can see a smile on the driver's face! So every time
when I see the drivers smile to me, I give back a big one!
Don't know if cars in Beijing can be so r
In 1839, the City of Salem paid tribute to its glorious maritime
past by adopting as its motto 'To the Farthest Ports of the Rich
East'. For 200 years, Salem was one of the busiest ports in North
America. Its early settlers began to 'harvest the sea' soon after
their arrival in 1626. In 1630s, local merchants began sending
vessels laden with salted cod, lumber and other exports to the
West Indies and Europe. The town's shipping business was
interrupted in the 1770s by the American Revolution. After the
war, British ports were temporarily closed to American vessels.
Selam merchants began trading in new ports as far away as China,
India, and so on...

Actually the main element for attracting me is the 'haunting
witches' and the reputation of 'the Dead City'. And I still
remember that I have done so much practice of Toefl when
~MIT!!!!!~(2006-10-06 09:59)
Finally I stepped on the field of MIT campus! People used to say
that Tsinghua is MIT in China. And there is a funny saying as:
'MIT' is 'Made In Tsinghua'. :P

I wanted to see MIT not only because it's one of the most famous
Universities in the world, but also because my husband had graduated
there. It's just like him that always wants to understand my life in
Tsinghua, I pictured his life there in my mind too. But since I had
never been there before, I found difficult to imagine it.

It surprised me very much when I got out off the subway station,
because actually the station is in the campus! How convenient for
people to go every where. And if no body told me it's in MIT
already, I couldn't realize that it's a campus, because there are
wide roads, with many c
It's not the first time for me to go to the Acquarium, But today I
was really very happy, not only because of watching beautiful sea
creatures, but also because of enjoying them with my husband together!

We arrived the New England Acquarium around 10am, attended some
shows of sea animals. I did love such peaceful atmosphere...
Sometimes I felt both of us just like 2 kids, being curious about
this magic world, but sometimes when I saw some parents telling
their childrens what the fishes are, I imagined maybe one day we
will do the same thing here, hehe!

Then Charles brought me to a shopping area, full of people who were
relaxing there and eating various food. We were hungry, but it's
really difficult for me to decide what to eat... because there were
food from the whole world, not just looking beautiful, bu
There are so many friends asked me how about the life in US?
I'd like to say that it really depends on the personal
situation. If I just came here for studying abroad, it's
hard for me to find out so much happiness and interesting
things, and perhaps just feel boring and unsafe, like when I
went to Japan in 2005. But right now, I have a lovely home
here, and a darling husband taking care of me. :P

So after a few days adjustment of jet lag, I fainlly became
sleepy at night and full of energy in the day time! Last week
was really a busy one. Charles worked whole days and prepared
GMAT exams at nights. Me, of course cooked wonderful meals
to support him! He got a perfect score at last, hehe! So
yesterday, Sunday, he brought me to dim sum with his friends.
(famous dim sum!) I saw Gary, David and Michael the
