in recent weeks mozilla unveiled a new logo for the latest version of firefox. the well-known identity was revamped by anthony piraino directed by the original logo designer and mozilla team.
the new version of the logo includes finer detail and depth shading on the fox, flames that wrap around the globe horizontally and a glossier globe that has more abstract land formations. full details of the update can be found on

among them are 'bottleclip', a bottle holder concept for the bicycle,
'piegato one' shelf and 'recone bowl' which easily changes shape.

'bottleclip' is designed as a cheap bottleholder that simply snaps onto any standard sized
bicycle. due to its normed thread most bottles can be screwed directly into the clip.

korean designer jinsu park designed a concept pen that adopts the eyedropper tool of photoshop
for real life. the color picker pen enables colors in the environment to be scanned and instantly
used for drawing. the sensor detects the color and matches it to the color display. then the RGB
cartridge located within the pen mixes the inks together to create the color that has been scanned.

taxi cabs are an essential part of every city’s
transportation system. however the design of taxis remains
essential unchanged since the first motorized cars began driving
people to their destination at the end of the
19th century. we are beginning to rethink transportation systems to
cope with new issues such as urban
planning, growing populations and the environment. included in this
discussion is the design of the taxi.

'and a' is a clothing store which recently opened in japan. the interiors by moment design
use the color scheme of red and black which were one of the most important elements
in their design. the shop is divided into the three zones with the theme, 'future,' 'past,'
and 'present', where each zone is color coded relating to the themes. this concept leads
to 'the mixed culture,' which is one of the features of 'and a'.

cable cubes is a modular cable arrangement system for the wall.
each cable can be attached
to a cube with the appropriate connector. the cubes can be plugged
into one another to
add on as many cubes as needed. in addition, every module can be
fixed on the wall, when
there is a need for more stability.
