Note for Pan’s book
It is both an honour and a delight to be able to write a brief note of introduction to Dr. Qingyu Pan’s fine book. I am especially pleased as Dr. Pan has been an honoured guest of the Imaginative Education Research Group in Vancouver, Canada for six months during the academic year 2008/9. One aspect of his contribution during this time has been to serve as an admirable bridge, bringing to us greater understand of Chinese thinking about education, and now, through this book, helping to make some of our thinking better known within China.

摘要: 知识观的发展对教育观念与实践的发展产生了深远的影响,知识观主要通过课程这一载体来实施它对教育的影响。知识与课程是源与流的关系。新知识观作为对当代知识多元化发展趋势所作的哲学反思,对课程知识深层结构和课程功能具有重要的影响。
知识与课程是教育学中一对重要的关系范畴。本文将探讨存在于作为人类总体的知识与作为教育内容的课程知识之间的诸种关系,尝试阐明知识观对课程观的影响。
