I WALK DOWN THE STREET.(2009-04-18 00:52)

I WALK DOWN THE STREET.

THERE IS A HOLE.

I DON'T SEE IT.

I FALL IN.

IT ISN'T MY FAULT.

IT TAKES A VERY LONG TIME TO GET OUT.

I WALK DOWN THE SAME STREET,

THERE IS STILL A DEEP HOLE.

I PRETEND NOT TO SEE IT.

I FALL IN.

I PRETEND IT'S STILL NOT MY FAULT.

IT TAKES A LONG TIME TO GET OUT.

I WALK DOWN THE SAME STREET.

THERE IS STILL THE SAME DEEP HOLE.

I SEE IT.

I FALL IN ANYWAY.

IT'S A HABIT.

I GET OUT QUICKER THIS TIME.

I WALK DOWN THE SAME STREET.

THERE IS A DEEP HOLE.

I SEE IT.

I WALK AROUND IT.

I DON'T FALL IN.

I WALK DOWN A DIFFERENT STREET.

Men, it has been well said, think in herds; it will be seen that they go mad in herds, while they only recover their senses slowly, and one by one.

No Loving No Kindness(2009-02-27 23:08)

There was an old woman in China who had supported a monk for over twenty years. She had built a little hut for him and fed him while he was meditating. Finally she wondered just what progress he had made in all this time.

To find out, she obtained the help of a girl rich in desire. 'Go and embrace him,' she told her, 'and then ask him suddenly: 'What now?''

The girl called upon the monk and without much ado caressed him, asking him what he was going to do about it.

'An old tree grows on a cold rock in winter,' replied the monk somewhat poetically. 'Nowhere is there any warmth.'

The girl returned and related what he had said.

'To think I fed that fellow for twenty years!' exclaimed the old woman in anger. 'He showed no consideration for your need, no disposition to explain your condition. He need not have responded to passion, but at least he could have evidenced some compassion;'

She at once went to the hut of the monk and burned it down.

Joke: Cat Rescue(2009-02-18 00:42)

Larry, a local football star, is jogging down the street when he sees a building on fire. A lady is standing on a third story ledge holding her cat in her arms.

'Hey, lady', yells Larry, 'Throw me the cat!'

'No,' she cries, 'It's too far!'

'I play football. I can catch him!'

The smoke is pouring from the windows. The woman kisses her cat goodbye and tosses it down to the street.

Larry keeps his eye on the cat as it comes hurtling down toward him. The feline bounces off an awning and he runs into the street to catch it. He jumps six feet into the air and makes a spectacular one-handed catch. The crowd that has gathered to watch the fire breaks into cheers.

Larry does a little dance, lifts the cat above his head, wiggles his knees back and forth, then spikes the cat into the pavement.
