Case study of aggression

Aggression has always been the most heavily researched topics in psychology.Many researchers  have gone beyond trying to agree on a definition to a more important process of examining the sources of human aggression.One of the most famous and influential experiments ever,by Albert Bandura and his associates, demonstrated how children learn to be aggressive.This research has come to be known throughout the field of psychology as “the Bobo doll study”. The researchers expose children to adult models who behaved in either aggressive or nonaggressive.The children would then be tested in a new situation without the model present to determine to what extent they would imitate the acts of aggression.Based on this, four predictions were made.1>Subject who observed adult models performing acts of aggression would imitate the adult’s aggressive behavior which significantly differ subjects who observed nonaggressive models or no models a

Basically I have following three theories.

For the dreams journal, I tried really hard for five days to remember my dreams but I failed.Things suddenly changed on that weekend,two dreams were clearly remambered.I dicovered that it was related to my sleep time.During the five work days, I went to bed between twelve o'clock and twelve thirty,then I woke up at seven o'clock.Thus I had six to six and a half hours for sleeping.According to the sleep cycle theory,at that time I was awakened during my fourth REM period.Therefore I could not remember my dreams very well.On the contrary,on that weekend I had less work to do and could sleep as much as I want.So I woke up spontaneously without interrupting the REM,and had much deeper impression of my dreams.Thus I conclude that the reason why people forget dreams is due to the interruption of REM period.

Traced back to middle school, I excelled in Chinese History and became increasingly intrigued with various historical antiques and cultural relics. However, the textbook could not content my curiosity and gradually I conceived the desire to travel around China, the oldest country in the world with immense amount of cultural relics. In 1952,Eugene Aserinsky was doing sleeping research involved observing sleeping infants.He found out the periodic occurrences of active eye movements and theorized that this might be associated with dreaming.Then he expand his experiment to adults.He employed adult subjects and interrupt their sleeping when eye activity was observed.
