上周日，拉萨城几乎是下了一整晚的雨。这样一个雨夜，我在大昭寺的门檐下守到天亮，而所住客栈的房间距离大昭寺走路绝对不超过三分钟。

刚下过一场阵雨，小风冷飕飕的。半夜，我站在平措的五层平台上刷牙。深邃的夜空里只有布达拉宫闪着白光，四周静悄悄。那一刻，我心中，莫名地涌起温暖，旅行的感觉就这样简单地把我重新包围。

如果种子不死，是纪德自传的标题。我借来为《魔种》的读后感冠名。奈保尔给他的收山之作取名《魔种》，寓意应该和纪德相仿。有种子，就能生长出希望，管他结出什么样的果实呢。

起初，《自由国度》吸引我的就是书名，读完才发现，书名依旧吸引我，同名的那篇小说却不。全书包括序曲、尾声、两个中篇和一个长篇，长篇就是《自由国度》。然而这次我终于没有读懂奈保尔，觉得《自由国度》远不如《孤独的人》和《告诉我，杀了谁》两篇中篇读完后身心难以自拔。和《灵异推拿师》相比，我隐约感觉到捧走了

上周四晚，和朋友相聚，我喝了两口二锅头，回到家中，想读两页书就睡。本想接着读那本厚重的西藏现代史，但没翻两页就放下了。酒后不适宜读历史书，就像酒后不适宜开车一样。我从书架上抽出奈保尔的《灵异推拿师》，一直读到酒劲过去困劲上来。尽管奈保尔难脱文人相轻的
